San Marcos only has one restaurant that remotely resembles Mexican food and it's not something to rave on
He is not going to the Valley to eat. He wants to know what is good in SAN ANTONIO.
We told him about SA. But there's not much good there. Actually, Austin has this little dump hole in the wall near the airport that beats anything in SA.
Xmas ran his mouth saying SA has the best TexMex in the world which is laughable at best.
then he veered off course to San Marcos which is even worse!
The Mexican food is san Antonio is fine. I even think that little place on Perrin Beitel, Thousand Oaks Café has good Mexican food.

I've probably seen you there. They also have a place on the Austin Hwy. They do have good food. But I could clue you into some even better places as long as you keep an open mind about it, unlike some other narrow minded posters on here who won't open their minds and mouths to some great gastronomical Mexican food experiences.
