I don't think Freeman was their problem today. His line let him down big time. If they get rid of him, they'll be starting Glennon, and they'd have to good back to the drawing board most likely. Then, Schiano probably loses his job if he can't get a better handle on his team. Then they'll be back at the "we suck because we have a new coach" phase.

seriously, who has a better qb and offensive weapons than SF? kaep is a dual threat with a rocket arm and good accuracy who makes good decisions, their receiving corps of boldin/crabtree(when healthy)/smith is great, they've got a top TE in the game, and frank gore in the backfield. oh and they have kendall hunter and lamichael James behind him.

Thanks to stupidly drafting vincent jackson and doug martin. I saw plenty of Tampa Bay's games Freeman is barely a game manager they need somebody else. Freeman's ceiling is Tony Romo levels of mediocrity and i mean that as a Cowboys fan.

Green Bay had the same problem last year, wasting plays on running the ball, just like they did during the first 2 drives of this game, tbh..it stalls their offense and puts them in 3rd down situations prematurely..
Obviously you don't want to pass on every play since it will lead to Rodgers' death, but their offensive line just can't block in McCarthy's ty run scheme, tbh..

I dunno. Freeman has the clutch gene, which is Romo's main problem from my perspective. Even if he never puts up better-than-average stats, he finds a way to make plays when he needs to. If the Bucs' defense wasn't so bad last year and undisciplined so far this year, Freeman would probably have more than 10 fourth-quarter comebacks.
I watch a lot of Bucs games, as they're by secondary team. So I've seen Good Freeman as well as Bad and Mediocre Freeman.

When they line up un the read option they lose their protection as QBs and are treated as RBs
