The fact UTSA scored was impressive, everyone knew this was a blow out, the point was to measure where the program is after starting it up 3 years ago. Give this program another 3 or 4 years and it will be on par with anyone in CUSA and able to beat some of the lesser schools from the big conferences.

It's just their schtick imo. I give them the benefit of the doubt that they aren't dumb enough to actually laugh at a start up program that has moved up to FBS in record time and, all things considered, has looked pretty good doing it.

Thanks. That was a crazy game and a surprising win. Phil Steele had slurped on Tulane in his preseason magazine but the Jags started off quickly and held on for their first road win against a FBS team. I expected Tulane to win easily especially after the Jags bad loss last week.

I think UTSA is doing well especially at their pace. They have a good foundation to be successful long-term. Just don't make the mistake of building a crappy on campus stadium. The Alamo Dome is a good venue and will be a good recruiting tool.

Damn, had no idea you guys lost an FCS team Week 1. Southern Utah kicked our ass pretty good the first year too so I feel your pain. Think USA will be fine though, aside from attendance theyre right up there with UTSA as the best start-up imo. Theyll make some noise in the Sunbelt sooner rather than later.
