He'll just make it all about me. He's got nothing to say about the OP or whitemamba's family..
Be careful. SA210 might need to bolster his ego and pretend like he was able to make you mad.

77, 400 posts. The leader in actual post counts of the entire forum....all consisting of following posters around chasing male tail at all hours of the day and night online for more than a decade while changing topics and arguing nothing but petty crap..
Yea, we all know who the butthurt one is![]()

Honestly i'd rather talk about the topics raised here.

Dance monkey dance.
Don't be so angry, monkey. I thought you didn't care what I said..![]()
I don't know if that is the right way to describe it. I get amusement to an extent from what you say but it is in a way that I feel debases myself a bit. Pity and amused contempt are not productive. I can see that.
It's more along the lines of your actual takes on anything in no way influence what my takes on particular things are. It's not that I don't care per se.
Yet another into the fruitbat lair.
Is this yet another example of the vocal minority drowning out the silent majority solely due to zealous insanity?
The question is rhetorical in nature.
Good God...
you must be an incredibly weak minded person IRL the way you constantly defend the status quo and US government honor. we'll get you some knee pads and a bib so you can keep your TSA uniform nice and clean boy.
I don't know the history of this owner pet relationship, it does appear that the chumpster has a trained chump.
Amazing one can accomplish this online.

afghanistan in the 80s, vietnam, iraq Twice, libya.. etc.. are u ing serious? the us has no god damn credibility at all, they are at the center of all this bull , the US military has been slowly invading the middle east for years, and has been trying to get to iran, thats the god damn plan..
I actually said that, i guess hes not reading my posts, they have cell reception and land lines pretty often, but depending on the altercations in the area, they lose all connection to the outside world.
Read my ing posts, I said they have phones for the most part, and internet comes and goes, quit trying to ing spin .
o jesus.
So having conflicting interests is enough to be enemies?
Sorry but this is beyond COld war thinking. This is a childish insecurity complex. THE US WON. YOUR MILITARY HAS MORE THAN 50X THE CAPACITY OF THE RUSSIAN MILITARY, MORE THAN 10,000X THE SYRIAN MILITARY. Just because Russia doesnt vote the same as you at the UN, and because they *gasp* want to compete for resources doesnt make them an enemy. It makes them ANOTHER COUNTRY.
Ok, Syria helps Iran. Can you give me specific examples of the types and magnitude of problems they have caused the US and its allies? Are you comfortable that their list is smaller than yours? Is it really enough to justify bombing a country in the middle of a civil war?
As far as press, I think it is very difficult to quantify how many s more freer your press is. But assuming that it is at the very least moderately freer- since when does free = accurate? Unless I totally misunderstood my philosophy courses in high school, they are completely disparate concepts. One could argue that a "free" press has a better chance to be accurate, but given the economic model of most press outlets I think you are grossly overstating that chance.
People are so brainwashed by the media...
-Whitemamba
People who follow current events rely on some sort of source to gather information. Now that there are so many outlets we have to pick and choose what we deem credible. We are not in Syria. In order to carry out a chemical attack of this magnitude the perpetrators must have access to a sophisticated delivery system and it must be well coordinated.
So what group in Syria, at this time, has these capabilities? The military.
The fact that you have relatives living day to day in this mayhem is indeed sad. But in the end, for the people on this board, you are but another source of information. A person reads your posts and puts them up against everything else they have read and deem credible.
So tell me what being brainwashed by the media means in today's world?
We are supposed to believe what we read by a poster on ST who has relatives who know people who have access to information from the street? And this is more reliable than anything else WE read? Really?
There are people on this board that have a worldview that some of us deem ideological and static. It does not change, and it is not based on credible evidence. These people seek out information based on their idealology. They don't form opinions based on credible evidence. They instead seek evidence that fits their idealology. Rational people do not do this. So when you come on this board and state you are glad to share you views with rational people...
You can understand the skepticism I hope.
A free press also self critiques information accuracy. News outlets get punched by others if they are incorrect in their haste to be first with information.
What press do you read that you deem credible? Lets share sources since we all are after the same thing, the facts as we know them currently. Since we are not zealots and ideologues lets share.

its one thing to be accurate, another to include all relevant information. Omission is the easiest and safest way to manipulate an argument. On top of that the "free" press' (corporate) ownership uses it to sell their products and the politicians that sell their products, and actual journalism takes a back seat to that and you get papers / news hours that barely contain actual news, let alone a comprehensive account of confirmed facts. Thats why its important to look at multiple sources. I dont have the time or the energy to follow all stories closely and I havent been doing so with this one (and I dont live in the US so I see some international media you probably arent familiar with). But I dont really need to know who fired what when the proposed solution is damaging for every party involved (save maybe Israel or oil speculators). And especially damaging for the supposed victims.
How is bombing a country in the middle of a civil war going to help? When the japanese did that to the chinese the entire world condemned them for being opportunistic cowards. Either take the weapons away or let them finish their war. If Assad wins then you can go after him, but bombing them doesnt help them and it doesnt help the US. Its hardly heroic to suckerpunch a bully from afar, less so if you run the risk of trampling his victims. Justice requires investigation and communication, piling more rubble and more bodies on top doesnt help. Regardless of whether the rebels are AQ or not, another US bomb run is only going to make the US more enemies in Syria and around the world. Especially considering the only other modern era chemical attack the US either looked the other way or actually helped, depending on your sources.

If you only read big US newspapers and watch cable news you are going to be really confused.
The internet is this amazing invention that lets people link thousands of different news sources together without having to read them all on a day by day basis. If you click around enough all of a sudden the bigger picture starts to emerge and you can make up your own mind as to what seems most likely to have actually happened.
