Vegas is going to BANK on that Cowboys game. Home opener at Arrowhead, young and immensely talented team with a HC that has more H2H experience against the Cowboys than any other active coach. Besides all that, this is a typical Cowboys letdown performance waiting to happen. I'm betting Chiefs for sure.
I'm not betting it, but I lean on the Chiefs, tbh..
Chiefs looked great against the lowly Jags, that wasn't surprising. What caught my eye is that Dontari Poe looked really good in that one. If he actually pans out, their defense gets a LOT scarier. Offensively, Alex Smith is getting vastly overrated. He still averaged like 5 YPA last game. Captain checkdown got away with it because they were playing an inept Jags squad. If the Chiefs actually need to air it out, Smith and that offense will struggle. The onus is on the Cowboys to score early in the game. If it stays low scoring, it keeps Jamal Charles more heavily involved, and the Cowboys will be in trouble. If Dez's injury hobbles him at all, Brandon Flowers could fare decently well
Cards plus
Rams plus
Giants plus
Bears minus
Saints minus
Bengals minus
Colts minus
