Saw that on Kindle the other day. The reviews kinda waved me off. What say ye?
Well I just started reading it, I'll let you know when i'm done.![]()
Might want to ask leemajors
I want that book report on my desk by Monday, young man!
I liked it a lot, very quick reading. Almost done with the second, and have been very entertained by both. Only complaint so far is being 7th in line atm for the library hold on the third.
Thx. I'll give it a spin after I finish my current read.![]()
IronMaxipad started Hyperion, just finished Abbadon's gate of Expanse series. Good stuff.
Full Dark No Stars by Stephen King.
I tried reading a couple of Stephen King's later books, but they sucked.
so much damn social theory that ill never be able to read anything ever again
You seem to be into sci-fi. What books would you suggest for someone looking to find a really interesting and expansive sci-fi universe?
also I don't care if anyone scoffs but currently re-reading:
tbh Eric Nylund is a great writer and imo Halo books are extremely entertaining. lot more story there than in the games
Leviathan Wakes is a good one to start on.
Just finished Hyperion, really good .
This. Not sure if it was just me getting older or his writing getting worse. Or a combination. I still say the best Stephen King book you can purchase is Different Seasons.
Wizard and Glass for me.
I still regret not working through that series. I got about halfway through the Gunslinger and then real life happened and I never finished it. I have the hardest time starting a book over again after I've read some of it. But always think about getting back to DT.
I dunno what I was thinking, but Ender's Game is fantastic sci-fi. That should have been my first rec![]()
I haven't been able to read anything this past month. I did finish Leviathan Wakes and The Name of the Wind, both were fantastic. I have the rest of the Expanse series on my kindle, i'll probably get started on that soon. Also need to finish off Hugh Howey's Silo Saga, 3rd book just came out few weeks ago.![]()
Sauces by James Peterson
Anyone else read(ing) Prince of Nothing trilogy by R. Scott Bakker? pretty good .
