What I don't get is how the guys in Pink Floyd even knew about him. He's one of the more obscure blues cats. Recorded but three records in 1938.
Pink Anderson first recorded in 1927. He had two records, he would however record again in the 60's as an old dude.
The name is derived from the given names of two blues musicians whose Piedmont blues records Barrett had in his collection, Pink Anderson and Floyd Council.[21]

I started thinking...who are those guys? Well I found out.
How Barrett found those records by Anderson/Council is what I'm talking about, very very rare.
Dude, grew up listening to Hank Williams. I can remember sitting in my high chair as Hank sang...HEY GOOD LOOKING, WHATCHA GOT COOKING....as I ate my oats. Then here came Buddy Holly, The Big Bopper, Little Richard.....etc.
