Line is currently N.O. (-4), but has Vegas factored in the "black QB goes ape when facing the Saints" metric?

Which way should I go on this one?

Freeman is not that bad against the Saints, actually. He split the first three years and almost won the first game last year. If the Bucs are going to do anything this season, it has to start with them at least being compe ive with the Saints, so I think they have a decent chance to at least make the spread. This is pretty much their season.

This game would a lot easier predict next week. The Bucs are floundering between being a team that happened to underachieve last week and being like the 2011 Jets that had a lot of talent but just fell apart.

Saints have covered 7 out of the last 10 vs TB. The last time they played TB...41-0. I can't see them losing to teams they should beat now that Peyton is back, I do think last season left a bad taste in their mouth and they are dying to get back in the hunt. TB is 1-6 in their last seven games for a reason.

The Saints have a double home stand after this game, they play Ariz/Mia, they gotta be thinking a 4-0 start before two road games vs Chi/NE.

Saints have alot of injuries on defense this week. Freeman should have a good game, but this is the same guy that got shut out by the worst defense in league history late last season. I think the game will be relatively close, but I'm hoping the offense can get going early and take some pressure off the defense and forcing Freeman to play catch up.

Sorry that you took the Saints and the points. Chances are, they'll beat Tampa by multiple touchdowns next time.

even the sun shines on a dog's ass every now and then. all that matters is we got the W on the road in a divisional game.

Eh, it's been par for the course for the last five seasons. There's been a close game and a Saints blowout. The difference is that Schiano doesn't have quite the killer instinct that Morris did.

divisional games are always going to be a struggle. this ain't college football where teams are expected to blow other teams out who don't have as good of a record.

    ty weather
    rain delay
    on the road
    division rival
multiple dirty / illegal / intentional hits by the Bucs

I'll take the W anyway they can get it. like my Dom said .... "it doesn't matter if you win by an inch or a mile". we punked the Falcons last week with Drew beasting it up and got the W this week when he had an off game, but easily delivered in the clutch. 2-0 start in the division.

son it's going to take more than a cheap shot to take Jimmy out ...

    10 receptions
    179 yards
    1 TD

He still doesn't get enough credit for his performance two years ago in the playoffs when he almost single handedly beat the 49ers by himself.
