I see we still have plenty of s in complete denial of how good the niners are.
Nobody's saying they're a bad team, but history and the fact that the NFC is stacked works against their chances of making it back to the Super Bowl, tbh....

I'm a stat/trend guy but know the difference between what's real and what isn't. Back to back on the road an historically bad spot. Double home stand....great! That above trend is stupid.

Why try and talk about things you know nothing about little fella? You wouldn't know a stat from a trend.

They are very very good. They allowed themselves to get down 17 and 22 in 2 playoff games and their QB choked with 3 terrible passes with a Super Bowl on the line. Teams who also lose the SB get worse the next season.

    praising the 49ers
ignoring Kaepernick's unclutch play with everything on the line
    ignoring the SB losers curse
    Gnats about to go 0-2
    Re-signing Brandon Jacobs' fatass corpse
Tiki Barber 2.0 will lose more confidence
    No running game
    450 yards passing = Loss

I just hope Indy puts up a fight in Week 7. If Luck can hang with Manning for most of the game I'll be happy.

The Pats are down, the Ravens are down and Houston plays like in big games. The Broncos stay healthy they own the AFC.

Houston gets torched by teams that can spread the field with 4-5 receiver looks. they got absolutely wrecked by the Packers last year, and Tom Brady made mince meat out of them in the playoffs. The Broncos with Thomas, Decker, Welker, Thomas should be able to score on them. I mean, whats the best team in the AFC after that? Baltimore? Cincinnati?

Maybe if the Pats somehow manage to get to full health with Gronk, Amendola, Vereen

You nailed! With that Broncos receiving corp the Texans in deep .

There is no AFC team with the talent on both sides of the ball to compare with Denver. They have it all.

The Pats are the only AFC team capable of pulling the upset but it would have to be in Foxboro and the Broncos lose the turnover battle.

    I just wanna say.

Last year it looked like the Broncos had a clear path to the Super Bowl too... and they didn't make it.

Let's not start sucking their s as if they are drastically better this year. They were an elite team on both sides of the ball last year and had no business losing in the AFC Playoffs.

    You might suck , I don't....ok?

So the addition of Montee Ball and Wes Welker and the emergence of TE Julius Thomas makes no difference? They started off 2-3 last season.....remember?

If you had to bet right now on who wins the AFL what would you say?

Remember, Cushing was lost for the season by the time they got torched. His presence makes a huge difference in covering tight ends and getting to the QB. Swearinger looks to be pretty good so far. We'll see.

i'm a big fan of cushing (i've referenced his impact on the Texans D in a few different threads), but there is no doubt the Texans prefer to play their physical brand of football. They would rather play a team like Baltimore/Pittsburgh where they can just out-physical the opponent. I actually think the Texans could fare decently well against the Seahawks/Niners. But against teams that really spread the field, they've seen their struggles. Plus, there is still the Schaub factor

Yeah I agree. The problem is when they face QBs, like Brady or Rodgers, the offense is so inconsistent that it forces the D to stay on the field longer. Against those teams, Kubiak has to call plays that result in TDs, not field goals. Tbh, I'm more concerned about the offense at this point.

Shane Lechler was our best offensive weapon for years. Use him to your advantage . But in all seriousness, for a run-heavy, defense oriented team like the Texans, winning the field position battle is huge, and Lechler is like a field position cheat code. 8 of his 10 punts this year have been inside the 20, and he can still boom it if you're backed up

Yeah, Lechler definitely saved our asses yesterday. Bullock's value is on kickoffs, kicking it out of the end zone everytime, but that isn't going to matter much if he keeps shanking 50 yarders. Best FA signing in a whille (Lechler)
