in the past year i've gotten to the point where i can't eat shrimp, or even smell it, without feeling sick. I used to love shrimp, and nothing at all has happened to give me an aversion to shrimp, i've just slowly, for whatever crazy reason, developed a distaste for shrimp that's grown to the point where it completely disgusts me. Yet i still love crawfish and crab and clams and all other s fishbut the smell, taste, and texture of shrimp is just gross now.

Calimari's very hit or miss. The nicer restaurants do it right, while the chain joints make vulcanized rubber.
