Weird...
Big time move. Their first rounder is very valuable, but not top 5. Getting a guaranteed decent player, possible really good player that is already known when you have a stud QB > that pick IMO.
Wonder what CLE was doing. Maybe they have someone they are in love with? A QB?
Congrats to my J.T. on the Colts winning the division this year. Oh and the Browns.
Sucks for Teddy Bridgewater, Cleveland is going to ruin his career before it ever got started....
Sucks that Dywane Allen was lost for the year, but Richardson is a ing monster!
what the browns. teddy is ours!! now thats full on tank mode. starting hoyer and mcgahee![]()
Btw, people are overrating Richardson a bit...
He's also injury-prone....What was missing for Richardson were the big plays. His longest run of the year was only for 32 yards, and just two of his 267 carries went for 20 yards or more. That's not a lot: 0.7 percent is the fifth-lowest rate for any back with 200 carries or more over the past five years.
Morris>Richardson
Didnt Richardson average 3.8 YPC? He should do well in Indy tho. Lmao tradin last years first round pick
well he was the only threat the browns had so i expect him to do much better in indy.
The Browns have a better O-line than the Colts and Richardson didn't do with it, only 3.5 per carry, tbh....
(The fact that Cleveland has had nothing but ty records the past few years despite their good O-line further proves my point that playmakers are what win games nowadays, not O-lines, but I digress....)
well teams can't put 8 onthe box vs the colts so that should free up Trent. Never been a fan of his game tho but I guess we will see. Is he a pass catcher at all
this. the browns had NO pass threat at all. greg little sucks and i don't even know who their other receivers are....and weeden is garbage.
Great ing trade (potentially.) Seriously.
I was happy w/the T-Rich pick just in terms of making the best of a bad situation (pissing away a chance to get RGIII) but he only averaged 3.6 yards a carry, and the reality is that spending a top-five pick on a RB in this day and age is just plain stupid.
Not saying he isn't a talent, though. If he ever learns to hit the hole decisively he's going to be a damn good back. He certainly has ability and yes, he can catch the football too.
Stupid move, makes no sense at all. Where did they get the idea Richardson was an upgrade over Bradshaw to begin with?
Bad move~~~~~~~~
Oh, and there is a full-fledged tank going on in Cleveland. They aren't messing around. They're going for 2-14, 1-15 now.
No more crying for Colts fans about Luck not having a running game.
Do they get the colts position in the first round like NBA?
Love this trade. Colts haven't had a viable run game in a long ing time. Only way this trade is bad for the Colts is if they lose a lot of games and go 4-12 or some . Actually this is pretty much a legit trade unless they finish in the top 5 of the draft.
