less-than-Federal gun regulation is useless when you can buy 1000s of rounds on Internet, guns from gun shows, parking lots, private dealers, etc, etc without b/g checks.
Many big urban centers are Democratic (vs the ignorant gun fellators out in boondocks), but that doesn't cause the gun violence.

Simple fact is there were more murders committed in the US in 2011 by blacks than all other races combined.
In every one of those cities, whites are still the majority population....and the differences are fairly stark. Not sure what picture you're trying to paint here.
