Man, you're getting lazy.
Yet here you are day in and day out 24/7 365.
Man, you're getting lazy.
Except I'm not.
And still no one cares about your almanac lists.
Yes I am once Borders/Music Trend went out of business I haven't bought any new CD's. Now it's what I find in thrift shops/yard sales....but...the price is right. Actually found Elvis's Sun Recordings at a yard sale.
And...
The Essential Motley Crue
The Best of Molly Hatchet
The Best of Aerosmith
20 Greatest Hits of Bob Wills and His Texas Playboys
All for less than five bucks,
I'm into books and liner notes, Google...???

I wouldn't care about almanac lists either.
Why do you post them?
I don't even own an Almanac.
That's funny..????
You are an almanac.
Just lists of things. No context. No use other than reference.
Don't you have a decent record store in that podunk town of yours?
saying I couldn't find blues records in Austin
buys music at a bookstore
I'm not sure he really knows what a google is, only that people tell him his almanacs are obsolete because of it
Oh .
That guy has never been to Austin.
Ever thought I like to turn people on to something new to them? Open up a new world. I really need to tell a little story?
Are you really going read...
Robert Johnson recorded but 29 tunes in his lifetime a life that was cut short at a Greenwood juke joint in.....
What do I doubt that?
Yes we did...Music Trend...which I mentioned.
Borders had a huge Blues section with tons of that vintage old stuff. Then you could also order what you wanted.
Never been in Borders I see.
I went to one once to buy a book.
I did read that about him.
Half the you post people already know -- the other half they don't care about. Thinking you are the only person who can introduce other people to things is just stupid.
He really thinks he's going to turn people on to something."open up a new world". Get the outta here with that . Hilarious.
Avante: Here, this is gonna change your life.
[Offers cassette mix tape]
Anyone: The is this?
So here you are once once again talking about you know nothing about.
I scored these artists CD's at Borders
Dock Boggs
Charley Patton
Blind Lemon Jefferson
Emmett Miller
Jimmie Rodgers
The Carter Family
Victoria Spivey
Ma Rainey
Blind Blake
Sleepy John Estes
...a dozen or so compilatioins featuring just about everyone.
Stop trying to talk about you know nothing about...ok?
Are you saying that Borders is a record store?
I've had that done to me. I discovered....
Ray Wylie Hubbard
Calvin Russell
Damien Rice
Ray Lamontagne
Bo Jones
...from others on the internet.
I'd never heard of Marc Broussard, yep..internet.
Is McDonalds just a burger place?
I'll go slow....
Borders had a huge selection of music, and you could also order what you wanted.....honest!
Neat. Were the people who turned you on to those artists obnoxious, condescending assholes too?
You're right. Borders is a great place for old, boring farts to buy music.
