Clippers are going to be anywhere from the #1 to 4 seed with a WCF ceiling IMO..
The Lakers are going to be anywhere from #7 to #12 with a 1st round ceiling, tbh..
If the upcoming season is played fairly and not rigged like so many WWE Laker years, who will have the better season?
The Clipps are coming off their being backdoor swept by Memphis.
Griffins ankle injury factored in the disappointment but nonetheless they got worked by Memphis.
The Lakers were anally probed by the Spurs. They probably would have been eliminated sooner if Kobes Bryant had not pulled up with an leg injury.
In the event we get a rare back to back unrigged playoffs, who does better Clippers or Lakers?

Lakers are still gonna drench their pants pursuing the #8 seed and will probably get it with some luck and the help from fat old son of a Stern, but they would be satisfied only if they could avoid the broom in the first round and they would be fooling themselves if they thought they had any chance against Spurs, Clippers or OKC who're gonna be the top seeds.
Clippers will turn out improved from the past season, with a good coach and several solid new signings. But I don't think they're gonna stride much farther than the past season because they're still a PG-led team and DoK's theory never fails. WCF will be their ceiling imho, but I would be surprised if they got upset yet again in the first round.
as far as your team, the Dallas Mavericks are concerned, its 1-0.
The reality is the Clippers are NBA championship contenders this up coming year.
The Lakers are just gonna be a terrible basketball team.
The Clippers are favored to win their division while the Lakers are favored to pick 12th-14th in the lottery.
