I experienced something you will never experience. I watched the team I have followed since I was 8 years old win a national championship. I was a fan back in 1983 when we lost to Georgia. I was a fan back when the wheels fell off the program back in 1984. I was a fan and had to endure losing to Miami back in 1990 cotton bowl. I endured McWilliams, Machovic and Mack having blowout losses to OU.

Fact is it was all worth it see us win the MNC. You can say what you want, but Mack is a better coach than anything you have ever had at Tech and if he were at Tech win or lose he would be a legend just like he is at Texas. When your school wins something, anything then you can judge Mack but until then you don't know what you are talking about.

He needs to be replaced, there is no doubt about it, but he goes out with dignity and respect he has earned.

I'm kinda fond of that quote, keep posting it, truth is truth.

    SAT requirements
Second 25% of their class: UTSA 1100 Texas Tech 1140

    ACT requirements

    Fall 2013 Acceptance Rate
    UTSA 73.3 % Texas Tech 64.3%

Have never heard of TT being anything special academically so did a quick google search to confirm. Tech should be embarrassed that a 45 year old ins ution is right on their ass.

The way acceptance rates for schools like UTSA, TT, and both Arizona schools for that matter have fallen like crazy in the last 5-10 years tells me there's a heaping load of dumb s applying to college these days

they just want that money. it's up to you to make your time there worthwhile.

though it helps when your school has proper resources and the course work is enough to prepare you for the field you'll be working.

Id bet on UH or even better stay away from it. We got a who transferred from OU to shore up one corner postion and a very solid FS, but otherwise the secondary is a huge question mark. Houston's Air Raid will give them a lot of trouble imo.

The fact they want that money but still have a much higher rejection rate than 5 years ago is more of a testament to my point that the applicants are getting a lot more re ed

This is also why for profit schools like UofP are exploding I guess

LOL, post that gold for me again, I love reading it. The key to what you said is the word win, because my team does win and they have done so more than any other school outside of Michigan. A testament to this is we have a moron for a coach and he still managed to win a national championship. Now you might have a more vested interest in your team, but my degree is worth more at lease according to these numbers.

    U of Minnesota rank 209
    Taco Tech rank 254

Most of it for the Texas schools has to do with trying to achieve Tier One status. Tech and Houston recently got there, and UTSA and a couple of other UT system schools are trying to as well.
