Who said anything about millions?
Who said "they" get anything else?
Those restrictions were likely put into place for the purpose of liability or as a response to proven fraud. If you can demonstrate evidence of massive voter fraud, I'll be responsive. Until then, the costs outweigh the benefits.
Who said anything about millions?
Who said "they" get anything else?
What are the costs of checking something as ubiquitous as a photo id?
Well, if you don't want to harken back to the voter tax days or landowner voting days, you'd damn sure better have a framework in place to provide those ID's on a free basis with a quick turnaround. That involves $$
Equating suffrage to welfare is mindnumbingly ignorant.
Suffrage is a right granted by the Cons ution. It's funny that 'conservative' stooges that crow about federalism and TEH CONS UTIONZ! forget about that little caveat.
Darrin, punch yourself in the face.
How about the 2nd amendment? You need photo id for that.
Not to bear arms.
Double down on stupid. That's always a good move. Works for WC and boutons too!
FYI, there's a way to disagree without being a complete .
Character flaw.
GFY![]()
FYI, there is a way to post without being a complete moron. I put better odds on him being nice than on you not being stupid.
I'm stunned that I'm actually saying this, but I agree with Boutons here.... the GOP has done everything in its power to alienate any possible voter that isn't a geriatric/Boomer, and now that they're finally facing the consequences of this, instead of fundamentally changing their platform to a more libertarian set of ideals like what younger conservatives favor, their "solution" is to try to disenfranchise all young people....
The GOP is a corrupt good-ole'-boys club that's used to backroom deals, they are beyond out-of-touch with the average voter, and that's why they're now a fragmented party that can't win elections and may not even be relevant for much longer... they can't stand the fact that young people won't vote for them, so they're just throwing a -fit and think that young people shouldn't get to vote at all![]()
From you, this is to be expected.
Me pointing out how you repeatedly post stupid things and mock you for it?
Guilty as charged.
It's pretty sad that you mock me because I place high importance on what is the very basis of engineering. I am guessing you don't even know how to do them. Considering where you went to school, I doubt you ever did. You are a disgrace to the profession.
Last word?
How about we got back to talking about the cons ution and suffrage? Can you do that without doubling down on stupid?
Suffrage is a right protected by the cons ution and reinforced by amendment. There is no cause for an additional requirement. There is no threat to public safety or legitimacy.
A disenfranchised voter.
I'm all for this woman's right to vote -- just not multiple times.
Thanks for proving no voter ID law is needed to detect this.
Hypothetical. What if we implemented voter ID and it prevented that lady from voting, but prevented 20 other legitimate voters from voting, would that be a good thing or a bad thing.
Anything that keeps clambake outta the box is ok with me.
I see you skulking around down there, CB.
Voter ID laws would have done nothing to her.
i can't comment on this thread.
