George Zimmerman’s estranged wife said she now doubts his innocence the night he killed Trayvon Martin. In her first interview since a domestic violence incident at her home, S ie Zimmerman said she thinks “anyone would doubt that innocence” that her husband shot Martin in self-defense.
In her interview with NBC’s Matt Lauer, she repeated what she told the 911 operator that Zimmerman punched his father-in-law and appeared to threaten them with a gun. “I really don’t know what he’s capable of,” she said. “This person that I’m married to, that I’m divorcing, I’ve kind of realized now that I don’t know him and I really don’t know what he’s capable of. I saw a look in his eyes that I’ve never seen before that day.”
S IE ZIMMERMAN: I’m conflicted on that. I believe the evidence, but this revelation in my life has really helped me to take the blinders off and start to see things differently.

Roddy White, a black football player tweeted after Zimmerman was acquitted, that all the jurors should go home and shoot themselves.
I just hope to God there is a silent middle ground out there.

Now that I understand Florida law a bit better, it seemed to me that the prosecution shot to high, even if lesser charges could be brought. It was not palatable to the jury. Way too tough a case. Manslaughter of some sort and putting effort proving the lesser charge. I did not realize the prosecution had to go back and reargue for the judge to consider a lesser charge. That turned out to be very tough to do.
The guy chose to bring a firearm and chose to take on a potentially deadly confrontstional situation instead of letting the police handle it. And letting the police handle the situation was a perfectly reasonable option, the kid was not breaking into Zimmerman's home. This resulted in a death. IMO this is bringing a match close to fuel, even if you never wanted a fire to start. Reckless decision results in no legal penalty. This is very difficult to accept in hindsight.

Passive aggressive evasive answer as she avoids saying what she thinks and shifts. Is she looking at a book or movie deal and needs to juice up the script? Entirely possible.
Yep. When you add in some major bank often times the divorce ugliness including big time lies on either side increases.
It appears Zimmerman is going to come into some large cash once the suit against NBC for defamation gets settled....
