Nothing is worse than trying to rebuild a damaged relationship. It's always fragile... and he's fragile to begin with. He served his purpose and we tried to move on and cash in but happens. Now were stuck with him for at least part of this season until my boy Jimbo drops the ax again.

He's been the best Laker player for the past 4-5 seasons. Injuries have slowed him down, but it's clear that team goes as far as Pau takes them...
Him and Howard carried the Lakers to the playoffs after The Achilles, tbh.

Tbh, Gasol COULD be the best center in the NBA based on the fact that the last time he was playing at C and healthy, he put up 18.3ppg 9.9reb and 3.2ast on 58,9% TS and he led his team to 2 les in 09-10 as a C.
Pau was still a beast PF in 2011, but the Lakers were fatigued by the time the playoffs arrived due to being to 3 straight Finals prior.
Pau has been all-star level apart from last year, if he recovers to his 2012 form, I think he will have an all-star caliber season with Kirby taking time to get 100%. Someone needs to score and with Howard gone, Pau has to rebound a lot more.
Potentially, Pau could put up 19 10 and 4 due to playing MDA's high paced offense, his assists and points should be inflated given that he's healthy and he plays 36-38 mpg to lead his team to the 7-8 seed, tbh.
It just all depends on his health, I always liked Pau as a player and you have to respect anyone that can put up with Kirby's constant ing about his teammates not being good enough.
