Not a girl, but Drive is one of my favorite movies of the last 10 years.
Literally top 5 worst movies of the decade. Apathetic acting with awkward overextended scenes, then there's the driving, where he's driving a car. Outright bad.
There's an intellectual quality to Refn's films that you've obviously missed. One of the best and most iconic movies of recent memory.
sup, white pants?
I find the concept of a dream within a dream more enticing than Ryan Gosling awkwardly driving a car, don't know where you're from, but that doesn't take much intelligence.

Drive was friggin' tremendous, but Only God Forgives bored me to tears.
Made more sense to me after reading about the movie's intentions and influences. Felt more like an experiment. I appreciated it when I realized how surreal it was suppose to be.
A simple sentence seems take a minute to.complete with that clown
I've never seen a Ryan Gosling movie.
Well you'll always have the Fast & Furious series.
I'm a woman and I don't get it either.
Two words: The Notebook
Only God Forgives was boring and a complete waste of Gosling's talent. You'll get more enjoyment from Gosling performance in The Place Beyond The Pines, even though (SPOILERS) he's only in it for 40 minutes. Drive is cool, though.
And park it.
Agreed all around. The Place Beyond the Pines was great.
As for Only God Forgives' experimental value, I don't really see it, Proxy. But I'm all ears. The movie just seemed like a pretentious, albeit great-looking, mess to me.
He's kinda cute. My favorite Gosling film is Half Nelson, he is amazing. I like Lars and the Real Girl a lot and his acting in Blue Valentine is good but it's just too much of a downer movie. I haven't cared for any of his other role choices; The Notebook is extremely overrated, I just don't get it.
How the can you not get the Notebook!? You must never have experienced true love.
It's just too mushy for my taste.
OP gives me the creeps
