    Ben Hunt @benhunted
Asked Duncan about his hair getting long and if we can expect the return of the fro. He said no, but his kids wouldn't let him cut it yet.

If any team can do it, the Spurs will find a way. I know that reeks of homerism, but I've been a fan of this team forever and I've learned to never say never with these guys.

I really like this site in the mornings, it is usually devoid of all the hate mongers, and the info and opinions are not only more insightful, but also more rational and intelligent.
We all are more willing to agree to allow each other to disagree without throwing a fit and having a cow over it.
You sir, deserve the highest of fives. Up top

Jordan Super.Fly 2. They just came out a couple of months ago, and they seem to be very good shoes geared for big SFs, PFs, Centers.

    Jeff McDonald @JMcDonald_SAEN
Duncan was Duncan, at one point doing his fundamental/positioning thing to beat Jeff Ayres for a post-up basket.

    Jeff McDonald @JMcDonald_SAEN
    Kawhi was Kawhi. Self-explanatory.

    Jeff McDonald @JMcDonald_SAEN
De Colo had a pair of pick-six style steals in the backcourt, and knocked down most of his open looks.

    Jeff McDonald @JMcDonald_SAEN
Belinelli hit almost every shot he took, and he was open a lot. He has a chance to thrive with all the other weapons on this team.

    Jeff McDonald @JMcDonald_SAEN
Young was just active. Had a putback dunk in traffic. Nice feed to Cory Joseph for a fast-break layup. Nice backside block of Danny Green.

    Jeff McDonald @JMcDonald_SAEN
Sam Young was apparently also the star of the Spurs' obstacle course run this moring. Danny Green called him "an acrobat."

    Jeff McDonald @JMcDonald_SAEN
Green: "He was doing back flips and front flips on it."

Woah. I've seen Corey Maggette do a front flip in a slam dunk contest, didn't know Young was that athletic and can also do that kind of stuff. I thought that Corey was overall the more athletic player between the two, maybe not now, but overall in his prime. I might have been wrong about that. Young is sounding very good right about now. If he can play good defense and shoot the ball from the corner, he sounds really, really good for that last spot on the team. I'd like to know Timvp's thoughts on Young.

Very interesting stuff that McDonald posted. When I read his thoughts on Belinelli, I just started smiling halfway through that sentence.

In terms of who wins the back up SF spots (if Spurs actually do keep one of Young/Maggette) Oct 19th could be a key date/litmus test when the Spurs play the Heat, granted it depends on if Lebron plays some during that game, Pop can try both Young and Maggette on Lebron to see who does the best.
