Disappointing win.
if you don't love that, you don't love Texas fooball!
I forget the technicalities, can't they still redshirt him? If so don't even waste this year. It's a lost cause
Why would anyone hate him? Who in their right mind ever thought he'd be a good enough QB for Texas? A deer in the headlights isn't worth hating. I don't hate either QBs cause I know they're both mediocre at best. It's not a lack of effort
Ash will be playing vs. OU. Trust me.
The entire conference throwing games to keep Mack employed
I'm afraid you might be right.

Well, their O-line isn't great and Case sucks so bad that teams are just loading up the box, so they pretty much HAVE to throw. If their o-line was better, they would be fine.
Pretty powerful stuff..

Nobody should be surprised Texas got that call on the fumble. Horrible call and tough break for Rhoades and Iowa State. They deserved to win tonight.
Anyhow, I hope Mack keeps finding a way to win all his remaining games.
we're first in the big 12 lol
You didn't watch the game. All 3 backs looked like studs especially for how little they got touches. The gaps were open and they were all making the right cuts. It was even dominant at times
Thanks for posting this. Wish any Texas coach showed that much passion.
i did not see any thing that would have made the refs overturn the call of no fumble. and the two preceding calls before were good interference calls.
Case sucks so they have to throw?
It's still just Iowa State. Even if they know it's coming, I think you still line up with two tight end sets and go smash mouth for four quarters.
Gray should have touched the ball 30 times, imo.
seems pretty evident except to that stupid ing ginger.
What baffles me is Case = 45 pass attempts, Daje = 2 touches, Brown = 3 touches.
Deadspin calls out WR Mike Davis for his cheap shot:

Here's more evidence that would overturn the call.
1) The whistle to blow the play dead was about a second after Iowa State was running the other way.
2) Texas' knee wasn't down at the time of the fumble.
3) The ref (before the review) states the runner was "down by contact" NOT that the runner's forward progress was stopped. The video evidence shows Iowa State with the ball before the runner's knee hits the ground.
No problem, Paul's speeches really get you goosebumps.
Down by contact was the only issue.
I don't see enough evidence to overturn the call on the field. Do you?
Can understand the anger from ISU fans but this happens to every team once in a while. There is no perfect system in any sport so these errors well happen, just hope it lessens over time with technology. As an ISU fan you will probably enjoy the payback headed UT's way next week cause I thinks it going to get ugly
