I don't think people really hate D.Rose personally, they hate the fans who hype his up like he's the best player in basketball, or even top 5. He's a stud and a top 3 or top 5 PG in the league depending on the situation, but he really needs to improve his shot, it should be a priority. Lebron did that, and he turned into the best player in the league and won back to back les. MJ perfected his shot, added range to his game and won 6 rings.

That's what separates an athletic stud PG from an all-time great PG, the athletic stud is fun to watch and he has tons of potential(until people realize he's pushing 30 and hasn't improved) whereas an all-time great PG can shoot, defend(at least at an above-average defender and not a liability), pass and handle the ball and what not.

His 3pt% is actually not that bad, it's average, chucker-esque, but in his last season he shot 35,7% on jump shots, while let's say Kirby shot 39,4%, CP3 shot 44,3%.

D.Rose has to have a mid-range game, he's already 25 years old and he needs to slow down a little before he has another big foot injury.

agree.with most of this but I don't get why people were so bent out of shape over Rose winning MVP if MJ could be robbed of the award no big deal Rose stole one of LeBron's award has been horse since Malone stole Jordan's tbh ...
Kid plays hard and is fearless driving (pre injury) sure he needs to improve his jumper like James has done. But to say he is not hated is not true. I was in Chicago thus summer and even Bulls fans were questioning his toughness.

I think the Bulls have played better without Rose

The ball movemment is wayyyy better

Actually, Rose playing Miami would benefit the Heat simce the ball spends a lot of time in Rose's hands, and defensively Lebron plays Rose effectively

Lebron doesnt have that luxury when Chicago is moving the ball

Rose is a great regular season PG as his team wins more games with him in the line-up, but his team still won't win a championship with Heat/Pacers being there to stop the Bulls from even reaching the Finals.

Tbh I Rose is decent even though I am not a fan because the Heat need some compe ion other than Indiana. I personally think the Nets will be good but throwing a bunch of talented players together has been known not to work out at least in season one. Add to that the fact that Deron has been getting progressively worse and all the good players they added are older than dirt and the Niets aren't really too fearsome. So hopefully Rose's return is legit so it might slow the Heat tbh.

I think if the revamped nets can't post a threat to the Heat, nor can the Bulls. I doubt Rose will come back the same player he was pre-injury. Dude's been out of game for more than one year and a half, and the damage of the injury has extended far beyond his knee imho. It eroded his mind and made him a wimp.
