It's good my problem is you can buy NBA2k13 for cheaper and get almost the same experience without the Lebron worship.
I thought it was a different gm until I played that last fool with the Knicks. I don't feel a players onball rating comes into play at all. All you have to do is figure out what button to mash an when to press speed burst. This fool was getting past Danny Green with Beno Udrih like he Westbrook.
Use aggressive defense (L2 Button) to stay in front of the player.
That's exactly when I'll be getting it for next-gen, because realistically 2K14 for next-gen is just a beta test. Give them a year to be able to create gold.
Anyone know how to initiate contact on a guard driving? I am always pushed off my drive (regardless of dribble moves). Then a guard like Rose uses one move that I know is coming and he gets by me without a touch. It pisses me off lol. I use the intense D and everything and try to jump the lane, but it always lets him go right by. I can live with getting my drive shut down, but I want to be able to stop theirs in kind. Anyone have an idea of what I am doing wrong?
Just try to stay in front of him as much as you can. Also I learned that tapping the Intense D button rapidly works pretty damn well instead of just holding it. If all else fails..do the training camp.
It's comical how good Rose is in the game. I haven't went up against Lebron yet, but I can only imagine.
I'm still unable to do work with TP, he used to be my leading scorer on 13. Any advice? They completely took away his mid-range jumper -_-

His mid range jumper works for me. Turn on shot feedback just in case. He is lethal in almost every scenario in the paint, and great off picks. Have you mastered the different shot stick layups around the rim? The floater?
Yeah I really liked 2k5-2k7 and NBA Live 2004-07. After that the games became hard. I have 2k14 for xbox one and it's taken me months to really play well. I think his jumper is a normal release, you should switch it to quick if its normal.
It's probably taken from the PS4/XBox ONE release of 2K14. The consoles were not available when 2K14 originally came out, so that's probably part of the 'nextgen' 2K14 promo vid...

I had that 2k Jordan game featuring his old Bulls teams, played 2 games and it was enough, I have played lots of games from Maniac Mansion to Crysis and for some reason I find new BB games boring, another uva game I enjoyed like a pig was NBA 2k1 for the Sega Dreamcast Allen Iverson was on the cover.

You getting the PC version this year? Should also be on the next gen engine this year..The modding possibilities trump the larger online communities of PS4/XBox One IMO.

Shouldn't take a high end rig to run on max. I modded the out of NBA2K14, from graphical effects, to upgraded player faces, to improved jerseys and courts. Had the Peak, Whataburger, State Farm, etc. advertisements on the At&t center scroll boards and . ..Modding made the game a lot better IMO.
Personally, my favorite games are NBA 2k9-2k11 for the PS3. I feel after that they got too complicated.
But 2k8 was fun if you had a good big-man. Just dump it to the paint all day.

You got stepbacks, crossovers, behind the back moves, hesitation moves, fadeaways and legit post moves at your disposal. It takes a while but when they become intuitive there's all sorts of plays you can pull off...total control of your player tbh.
Love 2K13 and 14 for my PS3, but when I tried it out for PS4 it just felt like a clunky old NBA Live game for PS2.
I got Anthony Davis in a fantasy draft and created the Admiral in a draft class, no reason for me to buy 2k15 with Pizza Face on the cover or buy a new console for that matter.
