Harlem's weekly power rankings following week 5, tbh..

1- Denver Broncos..impressive effort against the best team in the NFC East..the offense has been the best in history through 5 games..they get a BYE this week against the Baguars, with the return of Von Miller and Champ Bailey the following week..scary, tbh(1)

2- New Orleans Saints..the classless assholes with another impressive win, their defense is much improved and getting homefield would be a huge advantage for them in the playoffs..easily the class of the NFC(2)

3- Indianapolis Colts..impressive win against a good Seahawks team..their defense has been surprisingly good and Luck has been as good as expected, tbh(5)

4- Seattle Seahawks..Marshawn Lynch with another strong performance but didn't receive enough support, tbh(4)

5- Kansas City Chiefs..big win on the road against an above average ans team(6)

6- New England Patriots..injuries are killing them on offense, Brady didn't play his best yesterday(3)

7- Baltimore Ravens..they are underrated IMO..their offense has been massacred by injuries, but their defense has elite potential(11)

8- Miami Dolphins..tough losses against high quality opponents, they will recover IMO(8)

9- SF 49ers..good team on the decline and suffering from the SB Curse, but good W against the Texans(12)

10- GB Packers..Matthews injury is going to kill their already mediocre defense, but their offense has been great..they could be 4-0 without the officiating mishap in SF and rookie fumbling against Cinci(15)

11- Detroit Lions..offense looked terrible without Calvin and their defense didn't last yesterday(7)
12- Cincinnati Bengals..good W against the banged up Patriots, but not impressed by them(13)
13- Chicago Bears..hot start is over, tbh, Cutler(10)
14- Tennessee ans..Fitzpatrick will hurt them going forward, as expected, tbh(9)
15- Cleveland Browns..Hoyer's injury is a blow to their division chances IMO(18)
16- Dallas Cowboys..great effort against the best team in football..they should build on it(19)
    17- Houston Texans..Matt Schaub + Kubiak = low morale and declining(13)
18- New York Jets..huge W in Atlanta, Rex has saved his job so far with mediocre talent(20)
19- Atlanta Falcons..homefield advantage is dead, receivers are hurt, defense can't make stops(16)
20- Arizona Cardinals..Palmer is a horrific player, but their defense is legit(25)
21- San Diego Chargers..tough loss in a game they should have won, bad sign(17)
22- Oakland Raiders..good W against San Diego, Pryor is exciting to watch, tbh(30)
23- Philly Eagles..decent W against a tanking Giants team, Vick injury should help(23)
24- Carolina Panthers..awful QB and coaching, poor running game, just a mess, tbh(22)
25- Buffalo Bills..Manuel is hurt, killed by the Weeden Browns, looking like the same old Bills(21)
    26- Minnesota Vikings..signing Josh Freeman is a sad, desperation move(that I don't mind)(24)
27- Washington Redskins..they look terrible, but the BYE week should help RG3nOut and their injuries(26)
28- Pittsburgh Steelers..some people still refuse to write them off, but they're finished, tbh(27)
    29- Tampa Bay Buccaneers..Schiano's days are numbered(29)
30- New York Giants..clearly tanking at this point, which is the correct move(28)
31- St. Louis Rams..needed a large effort to beat the Jags, they still suck, tbh(31)
32- Jacksonville Baguars..worst team in NFL history, tbh(32)

Strong list, tbh. I agree with the Top-4 (as with most of the list). Baltimore is indeed a sleeping giant if they can get any kind of help on the offensive side. New England is crippled offensively as well, but losing Wilfork is just too much. They'll skate by with another division le, win a WC game, and lose in the divisional round. Pretty impressive for a team armed with jack outside of Brady.

If the Bags beat the Broncos it would be the greatest upset in sports history. Would blow 1980 U.S. Hockey out of the water imo

The line is Denver (-27.5) right now. Another intriguing line is GB (-3) at Baltimore. Never a good idea to bet against the Ravens in Baltimore. I'm definitely putting money down on them.

They certainly have an impressive win VS Indi, but I'm just not sold that they're better than S.F. IMO they should swap spots with the Niners. S.F had a little iden y crisis early on (Harbaugh's fault), and now they're back to business.

And, that Marshawn comment is for LOL Given the current situation with that O-Line, and lack of dynamic playmakers on the outside, I'd say Russell is doing a damn good job. Most QBs can't survive with this sort of line Russell is dealing with.

Big Ben won a SB in 2008 with a horrific offensive line. Rodgers did likewise in 2010 with a mediocre-at-best line. Russell didn't do his team any favors yesterday--especially in the all-important 4th quarter (where games are won, according to Pete Carroll).

Guy had 300 all purpose yards and 2 touchdowns. To say he "didn't do his team any favors" is an awkward statement to say the least. And these QBs you cite also had very good weapons on the outside (Santonio, Nate Wash, Hines Ward, Heath Miller). And that Pittsburgh team, had 1 loss after 5 games as well. The Pack were 3-2 after 5 games. And the WRs? LMAO Jennings, Driver, Nelson, Finley etc etc

So please, lets put it in the proper context.

Just illustrating that a dominant O-line is not a staple to a championship team. The 3 most important things to winning a championship in today's NFL are:

    1. Elite, white QB play
    2. The ability to generate a consistent pass rush with only 4
    3. Two viable/elite receiving threats

Sidney Rice put up 1600 yds and double digit TDs with a 40 y/o white man throwing him the ball.

There's a fine line between being a fan and a fanboi. You don't want to be known as the latter, as it destroys your credibility and is pretext for the rest of your football takes.

I'm getting nervous about the Broncos looking so damn good so early on. Teams are going to be gunning for them and looking to expose them. It's just too much pressure too soon into the season.

Actually, it was 1,300 yards and 8 touchdowns. Why are you stretching the numbers?

Furthermore, guess who else Favre had to throw the ball to that year? PERCY HARVIN. So please, put it in the proper context. It's easier to catch balls when you have that kind of play maker stretching the field when the defense is so worried about that kind of speed and ability. And what year was Favre in when Sydney had 1,300 yards? Year 19. LOL You're comparing a Hall Of Fame QB in his 19th year, to a QB who hasn't even finished his 2nd.

Favre had more passing attempts in that one year, than Wilson has had in his whole career so far. The blind hate for Wilson is hilarious.

Favre's numbers his first full year: Completions 302. Completion Percentage 64%. 3,227 yards and 18 touchdowns. 13 Ints. 9 passes over 40 yards.

Wilson's numbers in his first full year: Completions 252. Completion percentage 64%. 3,118 yards and 26 touchdowns. 10 Ints. 11 passes over 40 yards, plus, 489 rushing yards with 4 TD's on the ground.

So you see, once things are in a proper context, it's more clear. @ Fanboi

I honestly think that most of the hate for Wilson on this particular site is because Avante sucks his .

Other than that, I don't really see why anyone would hate they guy.
