Deron Willliams, Joe Johnson, Jason Terry, Paul Pierce, Brook Lopez, Andre Kirelinko, and ing Kevin Garnett sounds better Lebron's squad....you mix that vet leadership in with Deron and Joe Johnson and I just don't see how they're not the favorite to win the East....my money will be on Brooklyn this year....the Bulls and Pacers will come hard but barring injury the Net's gots this...

Agree...but they did push Miami to the brink...and with the Pacers picking up Scola and Rose back I think one of them if not both are easily capable of beating them this year...

Kool is right they may pull a Spurs of last year type run ...but they have no one as good as Bron who has Wade. 3 is past his prime but would be the 2nd best player on either team.
I remember a couple of seasons before we had a squad containing Dirk, Marion, Brand, VC, Odom, Kidd and JET as our 6th man, but that team ended up winning us nothing but a broom in the 1st round.

fact is the Dynamic is totally different...(1) Dwight didn't want to be in LA to begin with, (2) 90% of those Lakers never played together before...and (3) 50% of those Lakers had never been to a le game and (4) those Lakers had no youth mixed in....not the case with the Nets....
KG, Jason Terry, Paul Pierce, are champions...Deron Williams is a prime stud PG and Joe is an All-Star...no one is recovering from Major injury and there are no chemistry issues... they have their bases covered in Brooklyn....they can match and exceed every Heat line-up
I agree they will win...If Jason Kidd coaches this thing right..and barring injury KG and Paul Pierce now have the youth around them...Deron can shoot that thang like Rondo never could...Rondo can control an offense but in all honesty Deron is the complete package, he drives, dishes, and shoots...Miami will be forced to play Wade on Deron and Deron is big enough to handle it...but it will create problems for the Heat in other areas....Jason Terry is bulls eye....what I like is that KG has legit help down low in Brook Lopez and Kirilenko...Lopez is solid and can bang....having him now allows KG to be KG...he has a jumper that he rarely misses and he has a great low post game... I see no way the Heat win that low post..Garnett owns that got Boosh...
Joe Johnson and Deron can and will beat Wade and Lebron....with the floor opened up like this for Brooklyn..Paul Pirece will have a field day...Lebron and dem gonna have their hands full

Kidd is my and Paul Pierce has always been one of my favorite players outside them Mavs because he has the best fundamentals of an outfield player and he's tough as , not to say the team is based in my goddess's hometown, especially that Brooklyn is only a few blocks away from Greenwich town which's exactly where my goddess lived when she was a child. But I just don't see how they're gonna be a le contender in the coming season imho. KG and my Pierce are washed up and pretty much done, D-Will and JJ have always been overrated, Kidd has the potential to make a great coach but he's still unproven.

Depends on how Granger fits back in and if he can still play. Scola off the bench could help some as well. They might be or they might not be but they pushed Miami last year.
KG is far from washed up....Gimme KG over Bosh any day...you really would take Bosh over KG right now? if so you're a moron....KG takes care of himself and can still run run run....Pierce is no more washed up than Wade..both had some injury issues....If I had to break it down % wise I'd say Pierce is 60% washed up while Wade follows closely at 50% that's a wash....
Add in Brook Lopez and Andre K and who will Miami use for these guys..and don't say Oden..we all know that clown's knee's will crack after week 4...that leaves Jason Terry open to battle ray Alllen and Joe Johnson on Lebron which Lebron is the better player but it's not like Joe can't match him point for point...
