Merry XMass Tiger.
Was that rigged?
^ I miss JP. ing Jim Leyland is placing the teams worst batters at Jhonny's usual 6 spot.
Merry XMass Tiger.
Was that rigged?
^ just saw some of the highlights. Tiger had timely hits and fat left fielder made high drama catch for out.
When i first read the 9th inning walks it looked like 4 straight (fixed?). But after seeing the recap, couple of those walks were with 1st base open, ChiSox playing the percentages.
Down 6 in the bottom of the 9th inning and the Tigers ambushed Nate Jones, normally the set-up guy, with the middle of the order. 4 straight hits for Hunter, Miggy, Prince, and Victor Martinez. Then a 3 run bomb by the pinch hitter Andy Dirks. It all imploded for the Chicago bullpen from there. Unlikely, improbable. But one of those games something crazy happens. Chris Sale shut the Tigers the whole game prior to the 9th. The winning run was flukish too. The reliever couldn't throw strikes and loads the bases, then he tried to snag a grounder that would have been an inning ending double play had he just let it go through to the 2nd baseman. But Tigers fans will take it.
Tigers bats firing on all cylinders heading into the playoffs.
Verlander in alpha mode
![]()
Porky is at .250
Lets see what he does in some more at bats.
^^ another game, another 1-4 with no runs no ribbies nothing more then a single with nobody on.
Porks Cabrera is not lighting it up yet.
Horribly managed seriesplease Illitch fire his ass
Oakland always manages to snatch defeat from the clutches of victory. Bases loaded no outs, bout to get Scherzered
Red s pitch for ball four and a run in was wayy out of the strike zone.
Talk about bailing Schezerer out.![]()
+1...couldn't help but smh when he swung at that garbage
Jesus Christ. What's with the obsession over Miguel, Fabbs?![]()
WTF is Leyland's problem, pulling Verlander at 110 pitches?
Congrats, Iris and Jammy.
Let's do this in the World Series.
World Series match-up with LA would be crazy... gonna be tough to get past the Red Sox though. Leyland's got to make some changes to the lineup to produce more runs:
Hunter
Infante
Cabrera
Martinez
Peralta
Fielder
Jackson
Avila
Iglesias
Plus, don't take out your shut-down ace with just 111 pitches heading into the 9th. Please.
Oakland going down to Verlander in back to back years
The Trout Haters obsession with Miguel?
It appears it's their fascination with stats. Kind of like the Bonds honks.
Congrats on his 1st clutch postseason hit tho. It came at a good time.
