He's held e-grudges for years against a so-called SpursTalk "Clique" that he believes is out to get him, so this thread was a long drawn-out attempt to deflect that and try to paint everyone else as having the grudge against him

The hate around here can be suffocating at times, especially upstairs lately when I try to get through to the haters that there needs to be some rationality. All I get is childish ridicule because I disagree, or because I choose to look on the bright side and stay optimistic.

Any sort of bigotry is based in short sighted ignorance, my pet peeve.
Upstairs I argue all the time with TGY that the whole team the bed, not solely Manu and Pop.
But since I disagree he resorts to ridicule.
His, and others, hate for those two goes way beyond rationality, and they constantly have to post it in every single thread.
It gets to be an obsession with him.

Pop has had two seasons now with Splitter...and in two seasons...he has not been able to "find time" to try and integrate his only two players approaching 7 feet....this is the NBA where being tall is something that can't be taught...on top of that Splitter is not just some "serviceable' "blue collar" role player...he can actually be an asset by his mere presence on the court with his vision, passing, and basketball IQ...but head coach has pissed away two seasons....
This seasons playoffs are just about here and head coach is right on cue to get embarrassed again....

Yes, I agree that hating on others with racial epithets who are also using hateful epithets against sexuals is very hypocritical.
I also agree that those who stand by and do nothing while the above two are slinging epithets are just as bad because they are involved but are not loving enough to stand up for those that are being damaged by the hate.
I am waiting for the day when my good friend Chumpie stands up against those who use racial epithets - regardless of whether they are on your -e-team or not. Until then...

Seems you have missed out on a lot - but don't feel bad - most people miss it.
So using hate language is ok in your book - as long as it is directed at the ones you choose? Trying to insult others and use cyber attacks and cyber-stalking is ok in your book but you draw the line on sexuals being the target. Sounds confusing.
