I heard that he only found out about this kid recently, so it's clear this wasn't someone he had been raising. However, I don't think we can take him being back with the Vikings as a sign he didn't really care. Some people really throw themselves into their jobs when they have a tragedy. My guess is that he'll be running a little more angry next week than he has so far this season, perhaps like that Favre game after his father died.

I have family in both Minnesota and Wisconsin, and even the Packer fans fans are like "Thoughts and prayers to Peterson"... that. Dude ignored the kid, and seems apathetic toward him in death. Howsa bouts ya sack up, wrap up, before ya nut up the only interested in the kid for the coin.
All so ing tragic it's almost hysterical. Not one of the adults gave a about the kid, save for the money he cost or brought in.
