Do you realize how many injuries they've had since the Clemson game?
lol georgia overrated as usual.
they're an overrated program in general. that's what i've been saying.
Do you realize how many injuries they've had since the Clemson game?
Aggyfan: "But, but, the SEC is the deepest conference in the nation
"
Georgia choking goes way beyond just this year.
SEC apologist

The best team in the B12 is Baylor. Let that sink in.
butthurt
no one said the Big XII was good
overrated ass SEC
Mizzou. Happy for them.
Those injuries finally caught up with UGA. Not going to keep winning when half your starters are 3rd stringers
Arky
Going to be interesting to see if LSU can keep scoring against the best defense in the SEC. LSU 24-14 imo
I know it's Western Carolina, but Auburn started a true frosh today and he threw for almost 200 and led the Tigers to 42 points in the first half. 3rd qtr just underway
Future is bright, tbh
Who is better than the SEC?
What happened to that "SEC depth"? Where are all those SEC backups who "would start in any other conference"?![]()
They have lost backups too... Try to keep up.
I do too, but I highly doubt it happens
Alabama, Auburn, Florida, and LSU have all won at least one NCAA championship since 2006. Because of these 4 teams domination, the SEC is now known as the greatest conference from top to bottom. But what about the other 10 teams? Has anyone ever sat down and analyzed the records and wins of the entire conference and answered the question "Is the SEC the best conference from top to bottom?"
To answer the above question, I took a look at the other 10 teams (Missouri and Texas A&M have been in the SEC since 2012, so their records from 2006 - 2011 are meaningless in this debate). The answer that I got was...well....below average.
So how did I come to this conclusion? I began by looking at a teams total record and looking exclusively at their non conference records. EVERYONE had a winning non conference record, or at least .500. So I began to look deeper at exactly who these teams were playing. After getting rid of the UABs and Citadel's of the schedule I was able to see the...well...below average nature of the SEC.
The SEC is a combined 47-48 against opponents from "Top Conferences (i.e. Big Ten, Big 12, Big East, Pac-10, ACC, and I threw in Boise State as well)". This is not bad at all....BUT...I decided to do something radical....I took away Georgia from the equation...once I did that, the SEC is a paltry 33-43 against top conference schools. In fact only 3 teams (4 if you count Texas A&M from last year) have a winning record against top conferences since 2006 (South Carolina, Georgia, & Kentucky) while 5 (6 including Missouri) have .500 or below records. This isn't a dominating conference. This is a top heavy conference with a bunch of below average teams riding the coat-tails of its upper echelon programs. And there's nothing wrong with that. But let's not sit here and act as if the SEC is a great conference from top to bottom when Arkansas is posting a 1-6 record against top conferences since 2006.
Another stat I want to leave you with is this. Including the 10 average / below average teams in the SEC, when going up against the most overrated conference in the NCAA (Big Ten supposedly), these SEC teams r 7 - 8. That's right, a losing record against Big Ten teams. And these are loses to Michigan State, Penn State, Northwestern, Wisconsin, Ohio State, Iowa, and Michigan. That doesnt spell domination to me...that spells.....below average (average at best).
Imagine what Baylor would do to det lolaggie "defense"![]()
Still get outscored by us.
All of that and still you didn't answer the question.
If you read their losing record against the big 10....
So you believe the Big 10 is a better conference than the SEC?
This year, yes.
