By the way, our band is called Joust & Parry. Here's an acoustic video of us.

It's not everyone's cup of tea, I know, but there are other unique bands that you might like.
If any of you are looking for something cool to do tonight.
It's at the 502 bar, 502 embassy oaks. It's a $5 cover..
but that's because it's a fundraiser show so our band can press copies
of our new e.p. The bar is awesome, and the drink specials are sweet.
Come by if you're keen!
Have a good evening people!

Good for you - if I was in S.A. I would go and show support!
Break a leg!
You're playing with Deer Vibes? I'm good friends with Devin and Mikey. I'll try to swing by. 502 has some good sound.
mexiiiiiiicaaaaaaaaaans
Lol 6'2 280 obese mother er who can't find any friends to play ball with
Your band ing blows. It's a straight up crime to charge 5$ for that
You sound jealous. I'd guess that 1) you fantasize to be in a band and 2) you can't afford a $5 cover.
What the are you good for? Aren't you a little snot nosed punk 18 year old? Worry about your little fast food job and your acne problem before you come here hating got.
So how did the show go?
Hopefully - you find your niche and have great success!
It's not bad, but I don't really hear anything to set it apart from every other math rock band out there. But to be fair, I really can't stand most of the bands coming out and playing this sound nowadays. I'd rather just listen to American Football and cry, tbh.
Its been established that you're a real fat human. Now add emo, lol.
trolling aside, good luck with your gig.
Thanks for the critique, not being a or anything, I really am glad to hear somebody's thoughts on my music. We are heavily inspired by American Football, but we have a lot of math rock influences as well. Most songs that we write, aren't as intricate as the one I previously posted, to be honest, I like math rock, but our drummer is the one whose real big on it. I'm more of a Mock Orange, Pinback kind of guy.

This is a ty unmastered version of a song, but it's mathy and old. Wouldn't mind feedback from some of yall.
That little arrangement is crying out for a melody and then a structure - but the instrumentation is pretty cool.
How far along are you into songwriting?
