Remember when Parker "promise" Tim Duncan #5? Than went 6-23 in game 6? Yeah I think Parker should stop talking.
Kawhi is definitely getting touches this season for sure.

dude in the last 2 minutes Parker hit a stepback three in Lebrons face, a circus shot off balance jumper, and forced a turnover from Lebron to put the Spurs up 5. He did his part.
Cant wait!

stop turning this thread to a popsucker pop hater style thread. like if we dont got enough of those
I like hearing that from Parker. I don't really know how people could spin this negatively.
I think it's an extremely positive comment from parker considering the fact that they never really had decent chemistry together. Parker is ready to trust Kawhi.
to Parker. very encouraging to hear this.
He did get injured though... Clearly wasn't himself.
& I remember him also promising Michael Finley a ring and tho they didn't get it in 06, they came back with nearly the same squad that next year and did. #5 is still a real possibility for this team
I rmr when Parker said James Anderson is going to have a break out year and he JA ended up getting cut...
Yeah but you can't compare JA TO Kawhi. Kawhi is the starter at his position..while Anderson was a 3rd string SG. Plus KL is a in beast!
I remember posters on this board saying the same thing about Anderson.... and Malik Hairston..... and Ian Mahimni..... and Richard Jefferson!!!!!!
time to buy my kawhi jersey
next year. Kawhi will be an All-Star this year. Parker, as the pg, just needs to make sure that the ball goes to Kawhi's hands more. Of course, it's still on Kawhi to make the most out of the opportunity. We'll see the results of his offseason training soon enough.
My sources say: Not likely.
Didn't his off-season training consist of, resting his knee?
I would wait until Kawhi resigns with the Spurs. That should happen next offseason. I could see the Lakers targeting him if he goes to Free Agency.
James Gist!!!
Fun fact: Kawhi lead the league in PPP from post-up last season, albeit on small sample size
Spurs will never let it get that far. It won't matter, though. His first FA will be restricted.
Well, he certainly should be able to lay it up with either hand, considering the size of those mitts. We know he can dunk with either hand. Kawhi should end up with a very nice post-up game, but he should start developing it now...not wait until LeBron did at Year 8. All he has to do is have Tim show him the ropes.
He starts hitting that baseline jumper consistently, he will be an all star.
Kawhi has been looking pretty mediocre lately.
