What, iyo, was the real reason behind his death? It still seems shrouded in mystery, and the media seemed to turn a blind eye and not ask too many questions--much like there wasn't much public muttering about how Magic got infected.
The truth still sits in jail (would be great interviews btw), and according to Wiki they're investigating certain aspects of the case again.
I've said this before on here but in high school, we had this black subs ute teacher who was from Chicago. he was only in his early 30s, and he used to say he knew Jordan or people in his entourage. He was saying back then that the word on the street was MJ's dad was killed over MJ's gambling debts. He was telling us this way before the internet taking off. So I always thought it seemed fairly legit, and once i started browsing sports forums, I've seen a lot of others with that same theory.
The media definitely should have investigated it. It goes to show that the mainstream media wants the gravy train to keep on rolling.
There is a guy named Michael Fumento who did articles on Magic's HIV, and of course that put him on the media's blacklist for showing how Magic had a reputation that was apparently succeeded by his son.

i've never read it either, I want to check it out. I heard about the author and his theories and then read some of his Magic articles. AIDS has to be the most politicized disease in the world. Funny how gays never apologize for giving infected blood to the hospitals and ruining people like Arthur Ashe or Ryan White.
as for your point above on what the assailants said, that is very interesting. it definitely sounds like a hit. as a teen I simply thought MJ's dad was in the wrong place at the wrong time, but that subs ute teacher made sense. he could have been full of , but he seemed legit and my point was that there were definitely theories coming out of Chicago way before the internet, it's just the media is ing useless for the most part.
I don't know what is a bigger issue, MJ was definitely bigger than Magic, but if you truly went into Magic's sexual history, you would have the gay mafia coming after you.
