1. What would have been the better, smarter joke given that Hunter Thompson is the man in my avi?
2. What do you ride, biker historian?
I ride a 2010 Honda RuckusAnd when I'm really feeling like a rebel I ride my taco mini bike.
Why would I make a joke about a dead man or the very well respected club that he rode with?
You are correct. But he redeemed himself in the same game with 5 staright points in the final minute for a 5 point lead including a 3 over lebron from the wing, not even his spot.
Despite Manus horrendous play and turnovers, all wouldve been forgiven for if he just woulve hit that free throw. But nooooo, he couldnt even do that!
He was too busy flopping.
I guess the part where it was supposed to be funny.
None of this detracts from your 'joke' making fun of yourself either.
Of course you do.
What does that have to do with now? That's your comeback for everything. If you want to go that route then manu costs the spurs 2 les already. With the Dirk foul and 6.
Despite Manus horrendous play and turnovers, all wouldve been forgiven for if he just woulve hit that free throw. But nooooo, he couldnt even do that!
True True
The Dirk foul did not cause them the le, and he did not cause the game six loss.
It's really hypocritical how you use the "what have you done for me now" tactic, yet you completely ignore Leonard's botched free throw, as well as Pop's completely idiotic move to take Duncan out (did he not watch the Pacers/Heat game one?).
The fact is, despite the turnovers, we could have won that game. But in the time Manu shot the free throw, we botched two rebounds, and another free throw.
This is a team game. Even if Ginobili DID "cost" you spoiled fans two les, what part of "we wouldn't have won three" wouldn't you understand?
That's the problem with Spurs fans nowadays. This guy is a pioneer for European basketball and their players. He was supposed to be our 57th pick (garbage second round pick to never play for us) and he turned into one of the best damn shooting guards, if not the best, of the decade. Imagine the stats he could have pulled if he left San Antonio.
But he didn't.
He played a sixth man role for his career humbly. He's acknowledged that as long as Tim Duncan plays beside him, they will always win the le. How could you even dislike this guy? He was the one in game seven putting his heart and soul into the entire game, while Danny Green shot 1-17, while Tony Parker the bed due to injury. He pulled 18 points and 5 assists in game seven, including an incredibly clutch step-back three and layup. But noone seems to notice that.
You don't think those "won three les for us" matters now, but I guarantee you would if you never would have won those les. I also guarantee you cared when it occurred.
Furthermore, for you ignorant fans that state he cost us the le that year in 06', did you forget we were down by 14 at half before Manu scored 21 second half points to bring us back in the game? Seems like that part tends to get left out.
Dude no matter how you slice it he still committed that stupid foul. That play alone washed those 21 second half points away.
Clown? Manu Ginobili? Manu's accomplishments are such that he will be voted in the Hall of Fame on the first ballot. You really might want to wrap your head around that concept.
Yeah, as part of the Big 3, the only untouchable is Tim Duncan, the other 2 are mere humans.
one more thing to add
IMO Manu's game 6 Finals 8 turnovers are somewhat equivalent to a soccer player scoring 2 own goals in a World Cup Semi Final or Final. By Own goals I mean scoring 2 goals in your own net.
but that's just me IMO
Let's just say thank God Pablo Escobar is already dead and was not born in San Antonio![]()

You're a ING idiot! Holy ! You do realize that the Spurs could've at least scored ONE point off those EIGHT TURNOVERS?!! 8 lost opportunities to score just one point and secure Game 6. But, that balding idiot cost us a championship for the 3rd time
no. the equivalent to 8 TOs are 8 bad passes by a soccer player.
but your 16+K posts might be the equivalent to a 16+ tons pile of .
To add to your argument.. 8 TOs might not be even 8 bad passes by a soccer player. It might be the sum of bad passes and interceptions of even good passes by the opposite team's player.
oh, now we are up to 3.
why not 4? or 5?
a creative fanatic like you should not have a problem to find a reason why Manu has cost the Spurs some more rings. (note: it's the Spurs, it's not "us". you are not a Spur. never will). your gang reminds more and more about some of those flag burning re s, who will blame the US even for an earthquake in their country.
btw.
Lakers series was NOT a final and Lakers did NOT win the le that year.
Mavs series was NOT a final and Mavs did NOT win the le that year.
it's beyond any logic that Spurs sure fire would have won els those years.
(oh, did I just use the word logic? sorry, my bad....nevermind)
tl;dr
Oh, I LOVE watching Manu play. Can't wait for him to put 25 minutes in a game this year. I know you're stoked!
Great players have the ability to come back. We see it with Timmy. I don't see why we won't with Manu. Not that they are on the same level, Timmy is one of the greatest of all time, but DRob and Sean were able to extend their careers and be productive after they declined. Manu should be able to also.
But wait!
It's HIS fault we couldn't execute both times in overtime and he's the reason Derek Fisher hit .4 (when he wasn't even guarding him) LOL.
got ass troll is what he is.
No one is more of a ing idiot than you are.
You do realize that the Spurs had plenty of chances to score that ONE point at the end but blew it anyway despite the turnovers! Yes, the whole damn team blew their chances, not just one player!
Go plague another forum with your ignorant narrow minded blind BS, ok?
ohmfaker is a little teste today.
