lol cant win in the east, now force to go west?
he wouldve had a good % to win out east, if the big3 didnt assemble...then again the knicks look like compared to the pacers and bulls
the Melodrama.

Carmelo says he wants to be a free agent. I hope he joins the Lakers. Sign a 30 year old proven loser to a max contract![]()

Once upon a time, there was this dude name LeBron James, who for almost a decade, he was fondly known as LeHype. You are probably asking how could that be because there isn't a statline he couldn't fill. You need 30pts, 12 asts, 8 rebs, 3 steals, 4 blocks - he was your man, 50-grand. However, no matter how many gaudy stats he would put up, he still couldn't...wait for it...WIN. In other words, the above bolded terms in the OP desribed him to a tee. Try, try, try, try, try, try, try, try (see what I did there - 8 times?) as he must, he just couldn't get over the hump... So he decides to do the unthinkable. He did something equivalent of slapping his own mamma (wouldn't put it past him tbh
). He made The Decision! to collude with his two BFFs from the studly class of 2003. He just couldn't take being the above bolded terms in the OP any longer. He wanted to shed that choking label and he wanted to do it now. So what he couldn't get past Boston. He didn't want to pay his dues. He had an organization by their collective jock and bra straps. Anything he did, no matter how disrespectful or hideous, they would just smile, pat him on the back, and turn a blind eye to his shennangins. They spoiled him rotten.
He proceeded to take a wet dog on them anyway as he took his talents to South Beach and did so in front of millions upon millions of people. He didn't even have the balls to tell management face to face (cowardly tbh). Through his play, he was threatening to continue to be the above bolded terms in the OP again when Dirk decided to slap him in the Finals. Naturally, panic began to set in. He found himself beginning to really own the above bolded terms in the OP. It was getting to him. You could tell as he passed up last second shot after last second shot for fear of failure (pathetic tbh). The world was caving in on him. There was nowhere to go...until Mike Miller went nuts the following year from the land of plenty (saving his ass) and Shane Battier + Ray Allen followed suit the following year. Now Big Daddy Kang can puff out his chest a little bit more. 2x champion that would finally shed the above bolded terms in the OP thanks to collusion with his BFFs... and a few savy vets.
/The End

Dont want that guy near the Lakers...he's very talented but he misses that 'it' factor that you need to win it all
^Melo has never been anywhere near the caliber of LeBron, so please lets not associate their careers. Melo is a ballstopper who scores at average efficiency while doing nothing to use his teammates, and does virtually nothing defensively. LeBron scores efficiently, gets his teammates the easiest looks they'll get anywhere in the NBA, and is one of the best defensive players in the league.
Bad news for the future of the Lakers, Baby Buss is salivating at the idea of recruiting Carmelo Anthony.
And the funniest part is, Melo will be 30 next year
I can imagine the Lakers' starting line-up in a year:
Pau - 34
PF - who cares
SF - Melo 30
SG - Kirby 36
PG - Nash 41

my god, can you imagine 3 ball hogs at the same floor on the same team (kirby, melo and young)

They can try but I think melo stays in ny. Also a huge market, can offer the most $$$ and less pressure.
The future of the Lakers rests on that.
To be fair, They both were 8-time losers. Tangible difference between the two of them? Collusion. Had LBJ not flown the coup, he'd likely still be sitting on a goose egg. He got bailed outPERIOD by the likes of Mike Miller, Shane Battier, Ray Allen, and a major assist by a team that couldn't hold a ing lead for 28 seconds.
LBJ ain't fooling nobody. He's been protected since his first NBA game vs. the Queens. He has a good skillset and he's physically gifted so he will always put up stats. Despite it all, he still had to collude to win. Each rang he wins through collusion gets a big fat * in my book. Had he won in Cleveland even ONCE I'd gladly STFU about him and give him his props. But he didn't because he wasn't good enough.
He should be 1-3 in the Finals. San Antonio Chokers. SMH

Your trolling sucks. Bron made it to the finals without a decent big. Kobe couldn't even get by those terrible defensive D'antoni teams![]()
Lebron took those ing cavs to the finals. Melo sucks so bad he even sucked at colluding with in stoudemire![]()
Yeah that 2007 Cavs team outside of Bron was on par with the 2005-2007 Lakers, maybe even worse. I mean starting Sasha Pavlovic, Drew ing Gooden, Boobie Gibson, and old ass Illgauskas? That they were in the Finals at all was a testament to LeBron's greatness tbh
Also Lakerfan should stfu about Bron needing help, Kobe needed two all-star bigmen and a 6MOY plus a former DPOY and all-star in Artest. Honestly the 2010 Lakers with Kobe, Gasol, Bynum, Odom, and Artest were more talented than the Miami Heat. How quickly we forget![]()
The Mavs should seriously consider writing a blank check to Melo in the offseason tbh.
He was never going to sign an extension so this is a nonstory. Knicks will throw a truck full of cash at him, he can sign for 1 more year of a max deal with NY than with anyone else.
Fans are sometimes deceived into thinking the Knicks are built to win championships, when they actually aren't. NY just want the guys who can sell the most tickets, who're good at scoring and showing, but not winning. It's just what NYC is all about, they want glamor and noise more than anything imho
Difference: Pau came to Kobe to win after going 0-12 without him; Of course after The Sweep! Pau is now 0-16 without Kobe.
OTOH: LeBronze went to Wade's team to win along with Bosh e, after 7 years of all bark (stats) and no bite (rangs)

at least try to be original, tbh
Let's talk about leadership. Tammy gets all kinds of props for his leadership. What about the Olympics? He had LeBronze, Wade, and AI - on his team. No way in should they have not won gold. No ing wayPERIOD. They were stacked, but like his marriage, Tammy was an Olympic failure.
Maybe they were missing something...a true leader who already won 3 rangs...let's delve into that, shall we?
It's 2008. Kobe is fresh off of an MVP season (should have won more, but white mediots are still holding Colorado against him, but I digress). After The Bronze! in 2004, American history was made in the worst way. Coach K called upon a 12-year NBA vet to save the U.S. Men's Olympic team. He had a 2-time chumpion that lead his NBA team to many 50-win teams, but without referee help, he could only muster a bronze medal. Enter Kobe Bean. Immediately in their first practice, Kobe set the tone. LeBronze and the crew followed. He practices as hard as he plays. It was to no one's surprise that they went on to win gold:
I'd even argue that Kobe taught LeBronze how to win. Prior to that 2008 Olympic team (for which Kobe was his teammate setting the tone) LeBronze had ZEROall defensive honors. It's true, LeBronze didn't win even one all defensive honor before he participated in the 2008 Olympics. Is it a coincidence that after the 2008 Olympics he finally became a perinneal all defender? I think not sons.
