The Cards or Pirates tbh. My bets on one of them winning the WS provided the Red Sox choke.
Worthless, bag, lucky-ass, Dodgers must die.
Which NL team will step up and destroy them?

$217 million... Travesty.
Honestly, I see no one in the NL. Braves are chokers, Cards can't match the pitching. Pirates/Reds? Maybe but I would bet on the Dodgers.
Cardinals are the only team capable of beating them in the NL.
Pirates, tbh.... I could honestly see them winning it all this year.... I'm hoping for an A's/Pirates World Series just to see Selig and butthurt big-market fans melt down, tbh![]()
Gotta go with the Cardinals.
This just in...Matt Kemp out for entire playoffs. gg Dodgers
they have to win the WC game, then beat the cardinals in a playoff series, and then beat the dodgers/braves in the NLCS. not happening
You're a got that will be crying again soon

Diamondbacks traded excess - damn good excess - but excess nonetheless for Angels slugger, Trumbo. Getting back two prospects as well.
Bad fielder, low on-base, but can provide that power threat behind Goldschmidt. Might have a slight chance of improving as a hitter since Chase is hitter friendly.
Don't really like the deal, but I get the logic.
Would have preferred to trade for pitcher and sign Choo.
We needed the pitching--how are those two as pitchers? This also means that they're not keeping anyone w/o the conscious move to free up money for Trout's big pay day.
Skaggs was a former top-10 pitching prospect in baseball. Has had some quality big league starts. As a prospect was compared to Zito with his hammer curve, but he regressed a bit last season, lost velocity, but proved he could push through for a quality start.
Solid 2/3 type ceiling, 4/5 floor.
Not sure on other.
