Dude's overrated but he's been their most efficient scorer for one or two seasons imho. being the leading scorer on a scrub team ain't meaning nothing but it definitely has boosted his market value, so Utah has to pay him the right price to keep him in the salt lake city. Maybe they'll sell him a bit later for some young prospects and picks. And it's not like theres gonna be any big-name free agents willing to join Utah even if they had the cap space, so to me it seems just the right thing for Utah to do, keeping their valuable assets and expecting a bull market where they can sell him for a good price.
