This game is actually worth all the storylines we'll be bludgeoned with
This is going to be a kick ass game. We are getting Von, Woodyard, Ayers, back and Champ has that one game under his belt where he will feel a little more comfortable.
Having said that, I still think we're in for a shootout similar to the Cowboys game a couple weeks ago.
Prediction:
Denver 42
Indy 37
And since I'm pretty much always wrong....it will be 13 to 10 Indy
This game is actually worth all the storylines we'll be bludgeoned with
Denver 34
Indy 23
Pryor will be the only decent black QB that week
I think Denver wins easily.
Denver 33
Indy 13
looks like Irsay proves he is the I always believed him to be. must be genetic.

The guy is such a moron, but great bulletin board material for the Broncos.
I couldve sworn Denver was getting back 4 defensive players... it may be a blow out if they can get some early stops and force Indy to become one dimensional.
I've never liked Irsay nor the Colts front office in general during the Manning era. They just relied on Peyton while having ty draft class after ty draft class most notably from 2005-2010.
That being said, I expect Manning and company to handle Indy. With Miller, Woodyard, and Ayers all returning along with Champ shaking off the rust, the defense and pass rush will be much better and should get to Luck often and early. I also expect Manning to rape that Indy D and stick it to Irsay.
We'll knock off Denver. Luck will deliver and show why his inclusion into the Colts franchise was for the best.
The Ponies are going down.
35-24
Irsay wanted Rings instead of stats
I love to watch Peyton making the playoffs 11 times but out in the first round 7 times.
The Colts would put up crazy numbers, out in the first round 7 times out of 11 but the Colts
expected more..They did get a ring with him.....I guess with Peyton's unknown neck
problems Irsay decided to blow it up and go for Luck. Peyton's return for the first time back
and Irsay running him down now is a no class move by the Colts. They should have taken the
high road and thank him for everything he did. I'm sure that Peyton will be in the Colts
ring of honor or whatever the call it when he retires.........

Oklahoman people watching and rooting for an NFL team
didn't even change your forum skin and avatar until the Colts were 4-1
low supply of meth causing your inbred brain not to function right
I was never a Colt fan but I always wanted to see a Manning team with great defense and running game. I agree, from 2005 onward they got much worse in that area, to the point Mark Schlareth was saying their O-line was garbage. A lot of people didn't notice it because Manning got rid of the ball so quickly, but I remember seeing an advanced stat that when sacked, he got taken down quicker then any other QB because of the ty line. not to mention their run game was a joke for like 4-5 years. 2005 was the last well built team (relatively speaking) for the Colts, but that was the year of Dungy's son killing himself before the playoffs.
Re-reading what Irsay said, it's possible he's taking a shot at Polian or perhaps how the team was built, but mentioning the other QBs and their rings seems like a shot at Manning. still pretty immature but the guy is a druggie who inherited a team, big shocker. should be a great game, i think Von and Manning are going to go ape out there.
Irsay is indeed a got, but his father was a million times worse, tbh....
bandwagoning the Broncos
Giants being the NFL's this season
Eli Manning showing his real choke self
two fluke rings
you retiring after this year when all the teams you bandwagon die out
Denver has to score a lot to win this one, I'd say:
Broncos: 38
Colts: 32
inb4 neither team breaks 20.
Eh, I don't think Irsay's comments are really a shot at Manning. More like the previous front office that didn't build a complete team. That's what Irsay meant. Everybody knows Manning made the team better and covered up all of the holes. The team that went 2-14 and earned the right to draft Andrew Luck made the playoffs the year before, and went to the Super Bowl the year before that with Manning at QB. In the end Manning was really cut over money. It was either pay Manning $23 million dollars to play just the 2012 season, or pay Andrew Luck $22 million dollars to play for five years. Easy decision.
Manning's really good, probably the best ever if he wins the Super Bowl this year. But he has lost a lot of playoff games. Nothing Irsay said was false. The Colts will probably lose this game on Sunday and Manning will probably make Irsay look bad for cutting him, but the decision to go with Luck won't fully pay off until Manning retires and the Colts still have an elite QB on their roster. The fact that Indy made the playoffs last year and has a decent team now is gravy, we all expected at least a three year rebuild.
san diego exposed the colts imo.
trent richardson isn't producing imo. maybe there was a reason why the browns were in such a hurry to dump him. colts should have gone after a back with solid pass protection and focused on passing.
broncos are gonna tear that ass to shreds.

I'd say that the Broncos haven't played a "complete" team yet, which is true, but how many teams in the NFL this season are really "complete" anyway?
Broncos opponents so far are like 11 - 25 or some like that, so this is still their biggest test, especially because it's on the road.
Having said that, if the Broncos offense clicks, they're on turf again like they were in Dallas....just sayin'.
Not really exposed, Colts just played a bad game. They had a ton of drops on 3rd down on offense, and any time they got a stop on 3rd down on defense they committed some kind of penalty. I'm also pretty sure they looked past San Diego to the Broncos. They didn't look like they prepared for San Diego at all.
I don't think Richardson is quite ready for the Colts offense yet. He's only played 3 games, didn't get to go to training camp and learn the offense for weeks. Same thing kinda happened last year when they traded for Vontae Davis right before Week 1. Dude sucked for a while and by the end of the year was playing well.
the Broncos.
Manning still is my favorite QB, but after his tribute is over and the ball is kicked off I want my Mathis to light him up.
A loss is a loss, but I think this ultimately will be good for Denver...they did so many things wrong in this game that even the offense and special teams have lessons to be learned from it.
The ing defense however just continues to suck...if they don't get it together soon, it's going to be a wild card game in the playoffs and they will be bounced in the first again and it won't have anything to do with Manning.
Speaking of Manning...perhaps constantly checking down to Moreno up the middle and the always positive HB Draw isn't the best play when they have 8 in the box.
better to lose now. I can almost guarantee a first round exit for KC at this point.
Meh, almost called the score right if you switch the teams, Denver needed a 40 pt game to win it.
I repeat, the loss will do good for the Broncos in the long run.
