Still pretty impressive that the other guys on the list are legends.

Manu had 3.4 WS in 34 games in first 2 season
Tony had 1.7 WS in 34 games in first 2 season but he never had good WS per 48 min until 2 years ago
Kawhi had 4.3 WS in 35 games in first 2 season

An estimate of wins contributed by a player (An apparently advanced formula determines its). Thats what basketball reference says. Based off the stat the op posted,Duncan essentially won the Spurs 4 playoff wins in his first two seasons.

kawhi is barely on his 3rd year. this stat must be inflated especially considering the guys on that list are retired or old at this point. not to say i'm throwing this stat away completely because you never know if kawhi can become the next big thing and this stat is proven right

All this means is that Leonard had two deep playoff runs in his first two seasons and that he was a key player for SA in both.

Both Parker and Ginobili got to the Finals within their first two seasons but they weren't as important then because Duncan could carry any team to the Finals back then.

Total playoff winshares for 2013 Spurs(top 6 only):

    2.5 - Duncan
    2.4 - Parker
    2.1 - Green
    1.3 - Ginobili
    1.0 - Splitter

Total playoff winshares for 2012 Spurs(top 6 only):
    1.8 - Duncan
    1.4 - Parker
    1.2 - Leonard
    1.1 - Diaw
    1.0 - Jackson
    1.0 - Ginobili

Total Playoff winshares for last two years combined(top 6 only):

    4.2 - Duncan
    3.8 - Parker
    2.5 - Green
    2.3 - Ginobili

Not surprising to see Leonard as part of the big three for the last two years. He replaced Manu the second he was drafted.

And just for the curious, here's the all-time playoff leaders for winshares:

    39.76 - Jordan
    35.56 - Kareem
    33.08 - Duncan

    29.54 - Lebron
