WTF is up with tickets being astronomically high for this game? Is this usual on Saturday's close to holidays or is it because of Kevin Durant starpower?
Crazy expensive. Nosebleeds in the mid 100's.
Westbrook will probably be back by then.
Not that I would pay extra to see him play. But I imagine some might.
Saturday + Close to holidays + Marquee opponent + Rivalry game + KD draw for UT crowd
I think they come with an escort for the night.
Do you get a discount if you only need her for 10 minutes?
Hey OP it's a Knew Day, hit up KD.
Free Taco night for Fat Antonians?
It's called dynamic pricing and the Spurs have used it since the 2007-08 season. Back then the Phoenix and Dallas games were priced higher, along with the Laker games. For the pre-RRT games, season ticket holders were able to buy individual game tickets with the season ticket discount to all but three games; both Houston games and the 12/21 OKC game.
Teams usually don't publicize the practice, but the St Louis Cardinals have an explanation on their website:

Anyway, cheaper tickets to that game are available:
