It's certainly true that Newton doesn't have a signature win yet. Beating the Skins in week 9 of last year is as close as it gets, although the Skins were a playoff team last year so it's arguable. That Saints team was last year so they don't count.

Eh, we sucked at that point in the season last year. we were going into the game at 3-5 with the whole team out of sync and garcon hurt. good win for them but I don't remember cam lighting us up that game

the panthers will keep it conservative and pound them with the run and kill them with the play action, no . the bucs are a disaster and that team is not going to play hard for a coach they hate. panthers in a route.
As I said, this is a must win for Carolina. After this we play the Falcons at home, followed by facing San Fransisco and Miami on the road, and we face New England at home inbetween those games. If we can beat Tampa and Atlanta, I would be satisfied going 1-2 in that three game stretch, but I think we could easily go 2-1
