Simmons is a joke. That shot will be forgotten by most people soon if hasn't been forgotten already. MJ's Game 6 shot is as fresh in my mind today as it was the day it happened.
Still salty as
lol spurfan, 6 couldn't have happened to a bigger bunch of gots tbh.
Simmons with the still seeing Ray in green/still salty about the Duncan lottery bads.
Shots better than that one off the top of my head:
Horry vs. the Kings
Reggie Miller vs. the Bulls
Elliott Memorial Day
0.4
Jordan over Ehlo
Vinnie Johnson vs. the Blazers
Simmons is a got, but come on, Ray's shot is a legendary Finals moment and will be replayed forever, tbh...
I wouldn't say it's the greatest shot ever (Memorial Day Miracle is still the best), but it's up there....
Unfortunately this.![]()
Simmons lays out the truth, tbh..Allen's shot was suppose to happen..it did happen and we're the two time defending champs..
, tbh..
The shot is a legendary shot, but it's not close the "greatest in the history of basketball." All the ones I listed are much more impressive.
, tbh..
Dude rays shot kills all those. The only one i think it doesn't top is Michael last shot as a bull.
Ray's shot kills all, tbh..Dad Killers shot comes in second..
Finals, game 6, 3 point disadvantage, Allen fires a step back 3 with 7 seconds to either force overtime or go fishing.
The context alone makes it one of the top playoff shots of all time. Plus, a step back 3 is a difficult shot, especially with the weight of that moment on your shoulders.
Bingo. Simmons is not factoring in difficulty.
What is also ignored is Ray didn't even look at where he launched the three from..homer Spurfan wants to forget oh so bad, tbh..
I would say in terms of difficulty, either memorial day or .4, on what was on the line, rays shot. In terms of a players legacy as the greatest ever, jordans.
...Memorial day and 0.4 are easily more difficult. Elliott almost fell out of bounds then turned and shot it over an outstretched defender. Vinnie Johnson took his off the dribble.
Again, great shot...great moment...but he just backs up behind the three point line and lets it go with barely a contest by a shorter defender. There are plenty game winners out there that are more difficult.
the guy made a career over threes. I'm sure he had a feel of where the three point line was at at all times.
why is Spurfan so deluded, tbh?
How the is that deluded. I'm implying ray didn't look at the three point line because he didn't need to dumb
No, you're just mad I added more context to Ray's already really difficult shot, tbh..it must have sucked to have been on the other side of that
..
You're an idiot. I'm agreeing with you that ray didin't look at where he launched the three. Do you know how to read or are the english teachers in miami a bunch of illegal cubans that can't speak english?
^ He's a Spurfan troll, you ing dumb .
