what a surprise, a guy they wanted to take a look at in the d league is going to the d league.
But, the know it alls here know way more what to do and whats going on.
Go figure!
He looks like he's very solid from the midrange.
I wonder if he can jump.
Keeps a roster spot open and gives the Spurs first dibs if Howard can return to being an average NBA player. Good move.
Actually, we have no more dibs on him than any other team. He's not on the 15 man roster, so anyone can call up or sign him outright. We got Green from a team other than the Toros because he was on a d-league contract, not on a 15 man NBA roster.
I missed one day worth of news and I just became aware that the ol' sport was signed........noyl to find out the ol' sport was waived.
Lasted on the team for about 17 hours
I can last more in bed than what Josh Howard lasted with the Spurs![]()
biggest mistake was not getting battier at the trade deadline a couple years ago. he's beaten us twice in the playoffs since..
Thats 17 hours, if you can last more than that you are just not really functional lol............ Sorry Had to say thatI am pretty damn SURE it was Z Bo etc. and Lebron last year that beat us, not BATTIER who was a role player. He helped with a shot or two, but he has not beaten us in the playoffs twice since, lets be real. He would have helped our team some yes, but he is not a world beater.
no dumbass, but his defense and open 3's helped. game 1 agianst the grizz battier hit the game winner(jefferson missed the 3 to tie). and he hit a lot of big shots with miami too. he could have been a bowen type player for us off the bench backing up leonard or even starting 2 years ago.
Thats a wild overstatement. Randolph had an amazing postseason run. Conley and Allen are far and away the best defensive back court in the league. Duncan looked done and Parker struggled to score. RJ was so bad he got benched. Battier was good but not the reason why we lost the series. Lebron had a big game 6 run and played well in game 7. Battier hit 5 3's but we were still only down by 1 point in the final minute of the game 7.
I stand corrected...
It's kind of ironic, because we've never developed a guy in Austin on a d-league contract that stuck. We've sent guys on the NBA roster down like CoJo and Mahinmi, but we never had a Spur that was developed strictly as a d-leaguer in Austin. Everyone we got was from some other team, like Green.
That was the whole point.
fk this clown good bye traitor s no one will miss you tbh!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Since both Cojo and Nando have underwhelmed so far, I look for our first one to be Kabongo.
You are the one who said he beat us two years in the playoffs, just pointed out other factors too so no need to get all defensive and call me . I agree on what you said btw, he did help beat us in ways no doubt. He is a good role player to have.
haha, maybe i got carried away. it was unnecessary.
