but did they fortify that backcourt?
And what is to stop Chalmers from pulling a 2009 Fisher and laying Scola the eff out and making him useless the rest of the series?
Same thing that stops some scrub from laying out Chris Bosh or Lebron James... money.

Yeah, I agree that the Pacers are most likely ECF bound.... not sold on the Nets, and the Pacers can beat Chicago, tbh.... not sure they can get past Miami though....

I like Paul George, I'm still salty that the Clippers (George's favorite team growing up, btw) picked Aminu over him, but calling him a superstar right now is premature, tbh....
Premature in popularity, but not in his exploits. He's legit.

With a key series on the line you telling me someone else wont go "at" Scola just like fisher?!
He was suspended what ...one game? But it helped change the tone of that series. After Fisher set that "screen" Odom started to win his matchups (physically) with Scola.

Why won't someone go at Lebron?

You much too quick to give superstar label.

    Certified Superstars:
Lebron, Kobe*, Duncan, Wade, Durant, Paul, Melo, KG, Pierce, Rose, Parker and Dwight (maybe missing a few)

    Budding Superstars:
Kyrie, PG, Rondo*, Love, Westbrook, Harden, Steph

I also maybe missing a few but point is I dont throw superstar around lightly

please don't lump Kobe into group with a bunch of lucky loser 's...when them s can get the global love that Kobe gets and get at least 4 rings then you can lump them in with Kobe,...right now Kobe is in a class all by himself...no one playing today has as many rings...show some ing respect

Be shocked if Rox as good as Harden looks right now (and honestly Dwight looks better too not Orlando good but better than with Lakers) doubt McHale is teh coach to coax a first year together Finals run. Clips have a better shot tbqh ...
Probably true, but I still see the Clippers ceiling being lower than the Rockets, and at their ceiling I don't see the Clippers being better than the Thunder. The Rockets could get there, though, or the Warriors, both teams have a ton of talent.

Pacers and to a lesser degree, the Nets can dethrone the Heat.

The heat have been really to be free from any major injuries the past years so it's probably time for some change, and I'd like to see them dethroned this season because that would give us the bragging right to say that we prevented their 3 peat instead of just delaying it. But the Heat are still the team to beat imho, injury may bite this team just as likely as it may happen to any other team, and the Heat have much better depth to absorb the impact of injuries and will work out fine (unless Bron or bosh suffers serious injury)

The ECF is locked by Indiana, we'd probably see a OKC Pacers Finals this year. Nets-Spurs is my dream finals this year though.

I'd rather see a memphis-Pacers match up in the finals, and it'd be fun to see stern suffering a heart stroke just as my Jacob predicted

Pacers are the only team who can dethrone Miami

The Nets? if they are healthy they could be in the mix .... because with TOSB's Pierce and KG ...

    The Bulls? lol no

Pelicans will expose the Pacers tomorrow night unless Hibbert goes off. Otherwise they have lockdown on the rest of the Pacers plus a healthy Cornerstone.

agree. Even with a healthy Rose (both physically and mentally), the bulls would still be one or two tiers below the Heat, and knows if he's still the same Rose who once hijacked Lebron's MVP trophy. The nets are more likely to be the dark horse than any eastern team because they're so many x-factors in this team, a rookie coach, the 2nd year at a new home and a revamped squad. I think the Nets will either surprise us and put up a serious challenge against the Heat if not dethroning them, or turn out to suck asses just like the prior season and start rebuilding all over again when the season ends.

Pacers went from under to overrated. Not a huge stats guy but I think we willsee some regression from the Pacers even if Paul George takes a step forward as expected. Hibbert is the key, tbh.

Always happens with teams like this (see: Grizzlies, esp. Marc and Conley)

Scola in Indy changes things. Mark my word.
How do you find minutes for Scola?

I'm not sure which two teams will end up in the WCF but I'd be surprised if the WCF features any team outside these four: Spurs, OKC, Clippers and Mavs

Memphis will still be a tough matchup in the playoffs with hardcore defense but I don't see them making the conference finals two years in a row tbh.
