All the false hope in this thread is pure ing gold tbh
Actually I think most level headed people in here said all along that the Rams would inevitably lose, even on the last drive.

    Reverse jinx tbh...

But there are several posts of individuals who clearly wanted Seattle to lose. No problem with that, a few of whom are conference and or division rivals. It's nothing to be ashamed about. And yes, we were favored to win, everyone knows that.

The Seahawks played like utter garbage. Defense couldn't stop the rams run game, but they did pick off Clemens twice. Quite the accomplishment. Coaches refused to give lynch the ball, and the line refused to block. They can thank their lucky stars they were up against the lambs

There should be a weekly seahawks winshares thread tbh. I'd do it but I'm guaranteed a full workload with the BQRC.

Absolutely. Squeaked away with this one, there's no denying it. Everything that could've went wrong, went wrong. Yet the Hawks somehow found a way. Line got raped, Bevell gave up on giving Lynch carries, but credit to the Rams there as well. Although we could've had a little more discipline there. Anyone with a solid front four is going to make us look bad for the time being. This game is very similar to the Texan game when Watt and Co went Ham. If we can at least get one of our tackles back, I'll take it. Okung is out at least 2-3 more games it seems. Breno probably around the same.

Duct tape line will have to continue for now

And thats why you run it. Terrible. Seattle better get homefield. Can't wait until they come to the Stick
this. i got a lot more confidence after this game. especially if Kap keeps on building after rough start this year.

If I'm Harvin I'd rather play in the Seattle secondary...many more opportunities to be had there.

We're very fortunate that we don't play N.O or S.F until after the bye. We need our linemen back desperately. Should have them both by then, and we should look normal, well, abnormal with Percy

i still dont' get how lynch ended up with single digit carries. its not like they were behind to abandon the run. in a close game where field position battles presided, you'd think getting your power back a bunch of early down carries would be the way to go. instead they kept dropping wilson back into what was essentially a firing squad of st. louis linemen just waltzing through seattle's offensive line. poor pass blocking is a thing, i would know, but you have to play call around it. they should have gotten more handoffs and designed screens to slow the rush. lynch is their best player on offense, and they refused to include him in the gameplan

This is what Pete did at USC--supreme talent on his team and still manages to let his ty OC call a terrible game. They throw one screen to Skittles and it works well but they don't do it again to neutralize the oncoming ends. It was like they were like let's let our D win this one for us. The road is a perilous journey to say the least for the Seahawks. The offense left the D to wear out because of its inability to call a good game. Gotta give the Rams credit though--they fought tremendously hard and wouldn't lay down. The coaching staff is to blame on this one. Give Beastmode the ball and let him wear the DL out.

Maybe he was assessing the weaknesses and strengths by isolating Lynch. Rams would be the team to do it to. I dunno.

Perhaps. But they also struggled to protect Wilson against the Cards the previous week. I would say this is the arrogance and the idiocy--coupled with 11 days off and the Rams trying to buoy their season hopes (Remember, they were 3-4 going in even w/o Bradford, so they weren't the Jags per se). Okung and Giacomini need to hurry back pronto! Harvin will help as well with Rice injured.

    This.

But to have played 4 out of our last 5 on the road and have this record with the depleted O-Line is amazing. Okung will probably be back for the Viking game. Breno's recovery is snail like apparently, so who knows there.

the Broncos are missing arguably the best LT in the NFL and another starter in Franklin, yet there haven't been excuses, tbh..

Yeah there has been--just maybe not here but I see it on the other message boards. Or, they'll say wait until we Get Von Miller and Champ Bailey back then our defense won't give up 30+ pts. Every fanbase makes them--I'm just saying lets not bury the team until they get their o-line back. Also, Peyton giving up the ball considerably more in the past few weeks and taking hits more so than he was at the beginning of the year has to alarm Bronco fans. I know I would rather see a healthy Peyton than a hurt one for the season because he is playing lights out for the most part.

1- Denver Broncos..tough loss on the road against a very good Colts team..horrible officiating + a su ious game from Manning + 4 turnovers + horrible coaching, yet still only lost by 1 possession, tbh(1)
    good game, tbh..

Game changing call on Vickerson to end the game, along with the Decker TD that was ruled incomplete..
^in a thread led "NFL refs, tbh... " right after your only loss
This was one of the worst and most conservative games he has ever played, tbh..

All he did was throw check downs to Moreno all game, his longer throws were uncharacteristically wobbly, he didn't change any calls at the line of scrimmage(kept running Moreno draws on 2nd down), had a horrible fumble at the 1 yard line, etc..

Did he throw the game to please Colts fans and preserve his good relationship with them, tbh?..

there have been plenty of excuses. also, Manning's greatness and ability to throw the ball within 2.5 seconds is incredible. he has had mediocre tackles even back in his Indianapolis days. also helps having welker/thomas/decker to get rid of the ball to quick.

Manning can get the ball out extremely quickly if need be with all those weapons that can beat coverage consistently.

And about not making excuses, you must not read your own posts.

About the offensive line, obviously, which is what we were discussing..

A QB that can read a defense still has success behind a shaky offensive line, there are many examples..

That would be expected with veteran QBs but could Manning do that though? He wouldn't be nowhere near as successful if he had a shaky o-line.
