Duncan won his 5th le in game 6. But in the last 28 seconds when they were bringing his trophy to him he started feeling kinda guilty for beasting on little bron with d-league castaways and his 37 year old ass, so he decided to take a seat and let the kiddos win one instead.
What a guy.

It's time to move on, guys. The Spurs have done a splendid job since drafting Duncan in 1997. 4 rings and one silverball. Sure, it could've easily been 5 rings already, but this is the reason the 2014 season is here.

I can assure you that we are going to beat the ever-living daylights out of the Miami cHeat and Queen James when we get to say o to them again. Once again their "fans" will be leaving before the end of the game, except this time they WILL NOT be rioting to come back inside a few minutes later.
We should have a hypothetical ring ceremony for all the universes in which Tim Duncan grabbed that championship-securing rebound. There must be tons of universes where that happened. I mean, come on.
This is true, nobody hates black people more than Cubans (this is including the black Cubans)...it's part of the reason why they get along so swimmingly (no pun) with white people down here.

The banner should read "Thankyou Spurs, we'll take it" and that's it, no 2013. Anyway yeah it's time to move on, winning NBA les isn't easy and the mere fact the Spurs got over the hump and made it back to the Finals should be uplifiting enough despite the outcome. They still have 4 NBA les that no Ray Allen 3 can ever take away!
I think he missed the ring ceremony, plane trouble from Argentina but it's probably in the mail with an autographed LeBron James jersey. It's one of those silver plated -1 championship rings with the Miami Heat franchise logo backwards and an engraved turnovers number in pure diamonds. Also comes with a personal thankyou letter from Erik Spoelstra which says "thankyou for saving my job as head coach of the Miami Heat".
So all jokes aside we all know the Spurs gave it away, but it's a new season so hopefully if the Spurs stay healthy they can make another push for a return Finals appearence. Won't be easy but you have to hope they will learn from their mistakes and be ready to make another strong push at a championship.
