Awesome, thanks for posting
video drags quite a bit but it's got pretty much every notable play he made.
Awesome, thanks for posting
Nice! Thanks. After listening to the Grizzly feed last night, it is good to hear Bill and Sean.
Kawhi made two critical defensive plays at two different times when things were going south. That's what I'll remember when evaluating him.
Thanks!![]()
Kawhi with clutch Good job in 4th qtr
His shooting stroke looks great and his D was solid as always. He's a little too Bull in the China Shop-ish on his drives but he'll clean that up. I like Pop and TP's willingness to run plays for him. Going to be critical that he becomes our 3rd best player this season tbh.
Mike miller is officially Kawhi's
Great stuff ... thanks for sharing
Thank you for posting. I'm excited to see Leonard have a big year and get a nice contract extension.
Thanks for the video. I went down to my local pub here in Dego, and could barely watch the game over all the noise from the World Series, too many Sox fans here.
Looking forward to KL putting it all together this year. Hope to catch a game or two at AT&T again this year. Love the Riverwalk.
BTW, the Aztecs had their best recruiting class by far this year ( top 10 nationally ). No doubt KL's success had some influence on the recruits.
Today up to No 6 on ESPN Recruiting Nation Class Rankings and coach Fisher on front page
A good night for the Aztecs program with Kawhi vs Jamal Legitimate SDSU products.
It's probably going to take a while to establish Kawhi as a creator, especially with Parker on the floor, tbh, but unlike most players, he contributes immensely on the boards and D, along with his ability to shoot the 3, so he's always useful..
The team's spacing is poor when Kawhi has the ball, and it's evident that the rest of the team is still figuring him out, in regards of positioning when he has the ball..
Nice video. Thanks.
Love seeing Kawhi with the hard drives but he's got to learn to avoid the charge. Bull in a china shop is pretty apropos.
I don't think I agree with the bull in the china shop take. He did a pretty good job finding a place amongst the trees to try and finish. Did he even have 1 charge? I just think he needs to do a better job finishing those point blank shots. He missed at least 3 of them within 5 feet.

He had 1 charge in the third quarter but was getting into the lane a lot. Especially in the first half. Most of his second half attempts were out of transition.
His stroke is faster and smoother every year. He had a couple of misses that I think he makes most of the time. I think he could put up 17 ppg within the flow of the offense this year. I think it'll be more like 15 realistically. His ball handling is also improved a lot. It's going to be fun to see him play this year, and it's probably the first year I'll be paying attention to any player more than Manu.
He's becoming a 1 man fastbreak, and his shooting stroke looks way quicker than ever before. These things will help him improve his scoring output within the realm of our team oriented system. He seems like he carries when he is dribbling coast to coast though, he has to watch out for that.
