Top to bottom, this Nets team is better than last years Spurs team...and that team was just seconds away from winning in six. The Bulls and Pacers rosters are not full of players that have already beaten the Heat.
Teams are probably going to have to push it on Brooklyn tbh

...and what you fail to realize is that Terry, Pierce and Garnett have already beaten Miami. They are all on the same team now with a cast of even better players from top to bottom. Nets beat them in six or less if healthy. Calling it now tbh.
How in the is this got bolded?
Just saw the score.![]()
Shut up fat be@ner. If we want to know where the best taco stands are we will call you.
Terry has, but Pierce and Garnett lost to this Miami team in 2011 and 2012.... their series win against the Wade-and-scrubs Heat in 2010 doesn't mean jack against this Heat team, tbh![]()
And just like that Miami takes the lead while playing at maybe 60% of their capability.
Near misses don't count. Terry did with Dallas but, Garnett and Pierce never beat Miami with Lebron.
he actually thinks the series back in 2010 without Lebron means something
Bad call.
edit. Maybe not.
So who do the Nets have that can stop Lebron if (and when) he decides to take over a game?
What do you call a bunch of stoned Mexicans tbh?
Well ...that's what I get for posting after being awake since 3:45 am.My brain was a year behind.
Regardless, I think the Nets are just too stacked along with being built to beat the Heat like the Spurs were. The Spurs had ty Manu for almost the whole series and still almost won. I stand by it and will eat crow late if necessary.
Dude, LeBron was a couple of plays away from eliminating the 66 win Celtics team with Garnett and Pierce pre-TOSB back when Sideshow Bob was his best teammate.
I agree with Benny aswell.. this Nets team will give the Heat a bigger challenge than the Bulls and even the Pacers.. i think they can knock off Miami if they stay healthy. Still think the Spurs beat Brooklyn though.
Yeah, but you also had Duncan turning back the clock and Neal and Green going HAM for most of the series.... I could see Terry maybe having a couple on-fire games like Neal/Green, but they don't have anyone on the roster that can match Duncan's impact, tbh.... also, Parker > DWill....
DWill will revert to a fat overrated scrub when defenses key on his game. I can't imagine what an engaged and swarming perimeter Heat defense will do to Brooklyn on the perimeter. Joe Johnson is iso trash that will kill ball movement, a necessity when playing Miami. Word coming out of Brooklyn is that Brook has finally taken that next step. If the Nets are to do anything it's going to be because Brook reaches that potential. KG will change the culture of that team slightly but it won't be enough.
Those teams were closer tbh. Both rosters beyond the stars were pretty much garbage. Ray Allen played like so essentially it was Pierce/Garnett versus James.
uh? Neal was an abortion except for one game or two... Danny was s though
