LOL. I don't know how many times my NES went flying across the room because some careless friend or sibling ran by and tripped on the cable. Which is probably why everybody had to blow into the cartridges, their consoles were all ed up.

Though I do recall my brother or myself throwing the gamepad accross the room numorous times (probably resulting in the console falling) due to frustration from games like Ghosts n Goblins.

that would be more putting another cartridge on top of the one you wanted to play in the slot tbh

    Yeah we did that too.

One of the most impressive console accidents was with my Dreamcast. It fell off the shelf (don't remember how, nobody tripped), the lid opened after it hit the ground, the CD flew across the room like a frisbee and it stuck into the drywall. The disc never worked again after that, it was Shenmue also.

Yeah. When it was going under I bought the console and stacks of games for next to nothing. Then afterwards I wondered why it failed. It was a pretty good console I thought.

Yeah. The Lion King platformer this article raves about made me want to kill people.

They just released Duck Tales remastered a month or so ago.

It looks like . Don't see why anyone would take a great NES game and make it look like a cheap flash game tbh.

I haven't seen it, nor played the original so I'll take your word for it.

Gaming with only two achievements: High score and beating the game. Usually only one of those being applicable.

    Silkworm on Amiga

Most badass Shoot Them Up I've ever played (and I played a lot of them on Amiga and later Genesis)

High intensity , blood pressure went through the roof with this one ...... oddly, the bosses were not hard to beat

Number 11: Gaming didn't start in the 90s and involves more than consoles...

    This was my Amiga favorite:

    Advance to 8:35...

They show the whole intro. The game starts at 5:11, and at level three. That link is lame the way they did it. They start at level 1 again at 8:35.

Xenon 1 and 2, and Battle Squaddron were fun too on Amiga
