he's a career 46% 3 pt shooter, breaking the 3 pt shooting record in his third year. i have no problems with him taking more shots with that rate.
"I've got to play smarter. Sometimes, getting a shot up is better than trying to thread a needle when it's not necessary.”
This is his response when Mark Jackson decided Curry needs to protect the ball. Hey, that means shoot more!

You don't get it, but you're a chucker fan so you wouldn't get it.
Telling a PG to avoid turnovers isn't saying "shoot more". It's like your coach saying "you miss too many free throws" so you stop driving the lane, less FT attempts = less FT misses.
Jackson wants him to make better decisions, not shoot more.
lol got op trying to validate his stupid ing thread
Shut your hole you ing got
It was a strange comment that's for sure. Generally though I think Curry is pretty unselfish with the ball so I'm not too worried. When it comes to TOs, he throws a lot of one-handers for no reason. Needs to cut that out.
o dmc.
But the better decision is to shoot in currys case. Mark doesn't want steph to overthink his role sometimes playing playmaker thus turning the ball over.
Curry is an awesome hot sauce shooter. He should catch and shoot more.
Thanks

I think that's where Mark was going. I'm sure Curry has the green light on all the time.
Curry turns it over more than Lin. Its not about shooting more.
Curry gets paid millions to make the right decisions. No coach wants his PG to "not think too much" and just shoot the ing ball every time there's a choice to make. He wants Curry to know the difference between a good risk and a bad one. All passes are risky. Otherwise why not have him shoot anytime he touches the ball?
no argument there, just think that if there's any player out there that needs a license to shoot more, curry should have the privilege. but i see what youre saying.
have good night man.
18 points, 12 assists, 10 rebounds, 5 steals and 1 block tonight for Steph.

lol dumb
a bad pass may not always be the PG's fault imho, sometimes it also involves the poor off-ball movements of the teammates. In fact the warriors have always been a team with high yield of TOs since B-diddy days as far as I can remember, like they can turn the ball over 20+ times and still win the game. It's just their way of play imho, an adventurous style
Him shooting more has nothing to do with this thread.
In this case though, Mark thinks it's the PG's fault. The fact that Curry's mind says shooting more is better, so shoot more, that's a problem since it doesn't make his PG better.
Good for him. Maybe he took Mark's words to heart.
