that argie cunt, he's one of the worst. Johnson at least hit a few game winners last year and had a reasonable season
Is this the worst state of the SG position in NBA history, tbh?..
Harden is the best SG in the NBA, and he's an elite player, but he's very reliant on officiating/cheap calls and one of the worst defensive players in the league..
Kobe, like Harden, is one of the worst defensive players in the league, and we don't know what he will look like after the injury..
Wade is always hurt and can't play at a high level on a consistent basis anymore..
Who is left? Monta Ellis? Joe Johnson? Manu?..
It looks like the 5 position earlier in this era with Shaq/Yao/Wallace + scrubs..
that argie cunt, he's one of the worst. Johnson at least hit a few game winners last year and had a reasonable season
Idk but after watching this Rockets game I'd say Harden's defense is downright awful. Dude just looks lazy on D, like he couldn't care less to play any. I think he could be decent if he put forth an effort.
Gary Neal has a job...that's the state of the SG position in the NBA...
Tyreke Evans was the coveted SG free agent, that's the state of the SG position in the NBA
Help us, Kobe Bean Bryant. You're our only hope.
definitely not. it doesnt have prime star power anymore with wade's steep decline and kobe's questionable health but this years crop is still somewhat better than what 94 and 95 had to offer.
klay, kobe, wade, harden, eric gordon, beal, joe johnson, monta, ray allen are far better than hwat 94-95 has to offer with dumars, richmond, sprewell, nick anderson. john starks, jeff hornacek and reggie miller being the highlight of SG's.
that 2 year span was so atrocious they were hyping jalen rose as the next big thing in draft night![]()
It's funny, tbh, because even at this stage of his late career, Manu is still a top 5 NBA SG. Perhaps that's more of an indication of the sad state of the position in the NBA than anything else, though, tbh.![]()
Still good enough to sweep your sorry ass team... lol Xavier Henry, now that's ing sad
But yeah I agree with OP
However the same can be said for every other position (perhaps except for PG ........ maybe ....)
It's just that today's NBA is
^^ SF isn't too bad either. Lebron, Durant, Melo, Paul George etc...
SF is stacked tbh
SG sucks indeed, in that context Danny Green is a great value for his contract
PG has great talents
C is getting a bit better: Lopez, Gasol, Howard, Gortat, pek, chandler, hibbert, bogut... no all time greats by no mean but much more solid than it was
PF is full of TOSB and softies jump shooter aka Aldridge
Cavs should've drafted a PG with their #1 pick, then my Irving would settle at SG and become the best of the league at this position, instead they used that pick to create what will turn out to be the biggest #1 pick flop since 02 tbh.
Just a complete 180 from the heyday of the shooting guard with Jordan, Drexler, Miller, and Dumars.
what ya'll talking about, Manu is having a comeback season![]()
